What You Will Do

This experience blends the art of portrait photography with a guided exploration of Helsinki's most picturesque locations. Unlike standard photoshoots, I focus on making guests feel comfortable and confident, resulting in natural, candid portraits that reflect their personalities. The tour is not just about taking photos—it's about sharing hidden stories and local tips and creating a friendly atmosphere where every guest feels special. The eco-friendly approach, instant photo previews, and personalised guidance make this tour a unique and unforgettable experience. With over a decade of experience in photography, guiding, and storytelling, as well as having worked internationally and collaborated on various projects, I know how to make guests feel at ease in front of the camera while capturing authentic moments. My passion for sharing hidden stories and tips about Helsinki ensures guests walk away with beautiful portraits and unforgettable memories.

Senate Square

20 minutes

The Senate Square and its surroundings are a one-of-a-kind and well-coordinated example of Neoclassical architecture. Carl Ludvig Engel (1778-1840) designed four buildings that dominate the square: Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, the main building of the University of Helsinki, and the National Library of Finland. The Senate Square is dominated by a statue of Alexander II (1894).
