My daughter and I spent the most wonderful and special day with our guide Brigitte. Her knowledge of WW1 and the contribution our soldiers made on the Somme is incredible. Brigitte shows great passion and concern for the allied soldiers who fought, died and those who remain missing. She was also able to confirm with me that while serving on the front my grandfather whose occupation was a boot repairer also repaired boots for other soldiers on the battlefields. Soldiers boots are important! Thank you Brigitte for a wonderful day! Once in a lifetime experience!

The day tour with Brigette was amazing. Armed with maps, photos and her incredible knowledge, Brigette explained the Western Front as we drove around the villages. My highlight was visiting the Victorian School in Villers-Bretonneux (which was not on the original tour) and because it was a Saturday we were able to access the school hall which had wood cravings of Australian animals. Also walking the battlefields and the John Monash Memorial were also highlights.

Bridgette was an unbelievable tour guide. Bridgette has a wealth of knowledge and passion. We were treated to a tour of the battlefields and surrounding towns. Bridgette met us at the train station in Amiens and we returned there late that day. I would highly recommend doing a tour with Bridgette
