Marienplatz
Experience the highlights of Munich's old town on this exciting tour. We start at Marienplatz, Munich's former market square and continue towards St. Peter, the oldest parish church in the city. Then we stroll through the famous Viktualienmarkt and let ourselves be enchanted by the tempting aromas before we head towards the Old Town Hall. The old town clerk's house and the former seat of the Duke of Bavaria, the Alte Hof, await us on Burgstrasse. The tour continues through the medieval Platzlgassen, past Schuhbeck's cooking school and directly to the world-famous Hofbräuhaus, which was even replicated in Las Vegas. After we have made a short detour to Germany's most expensive shopping street, Maximiliansstraße, the tour ends at the Bavarian State Opera, whose architecture is reminiscent of a Greek temple.
