On the beautiful Roemer square, with its polyphony in all the languages of the world and Italian palazzos next to modern urbanism, you will again feel the connection of times and eras of this ancient and young city with the Metropolitan scale.

The Hauptwache

We will walk together with you through the one of the most famous squares in the city, which contains a number of different architectural styles from the baroque to modern ones.

Zeil

We will walk along the most famous and busiest shopping street in Frankfurt with a plenty of cozy shops and cafes

Cathedral of St. Bartholomew (Dom St. Bartholomaus)
10 minutes
Together with the travelers we will attend the main cathedral, built in Gothic style in the 14th century on the foundations of earlier churches. Beginning in 1356, 30 elections were held here for the Holy Roman Emperor. From 1562 to 1792, 10 emperors of the Holy Roman Empire were crowned in the cathedral.

St. Paul's Church (Paulskirche)

We will drop together to the seat of the first democratically elected parliament in Germany in 1848. Today the building is used as a memorial site and an event centre for the awarding of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade

Iron Bridge

We will walk through Frankfurt's most well-known pedestrian bridge, built in 1869. It is just a minute away from the Römer square, and ensures great views of the skyline and the Main river. On the other side, we will look at Sachsenhausen, a district known for its museums and historic pubs

Old Opera House (Alte Oper)

We will look together at Renaissance Opera Building in the center of the city, on a busy square with fountains and cafés. Originally opened in 1880, it is being used for the concerts of famous singers, congresses, and similar "fancy" events.

We will see together baroque style Lutheran church at Hauptwache square. Constructed 1678 bis 1681 at the site of a former monastery

Together with you we will see 14th century Roman-Catholic church and monastery located at Liebfrauen lane near the Zeil street
