Serkan, our guide was professional and knowledgeable. He picked us up on time. He was appropriately dressed. His vehicle was clean and comfortable. He knew a lot about Frankfurt- history and culture.

I booked this tour for my mother and her husband on a layover. I was in touch Serkan for days beforehand to make sure my family was taken care of. Serkan did not disappoint. They had a terrific tour. Serkan is proud of his city and wonderful at showing it.

Guide was absolutely terrific. Only downside was Viator emails insisting on picking us up at airport rather than hotel as we repeatedly told them. Good thing we were able to comm with the guide.

We highly recommend this tour, we had only 5 hours, and instead of wasting time in airport, we visited significant sightseeing sites, learned about history and culture, and tasted authentic local food. Serkan was amazing, friendly, accommodative, and knowledgeable.

Serkan was the best host for a quick tour of Frankfurt! He made it easy for us to find a way out of Frankfurt Airport for our long layover- he was right on time too. Serkan showed us the best places to see the city (our family and kids enjoyed the Tower most). Serkan ordered the most delicious food for us too. He obviously loves his hometown and filled our heads with a ridiculous amount of Frankfurt history. This was the perfect custom tour - definitely worth the cost to avoid the stress that is part of the other tour options.

With the reviews being so good I wondered... what on earth can I expect? Serkan deserves all these great reviews because he has thought how can he help time pushed tourists and make this process easier. It was a great experience and I was able to see so much with my daughter in a few hours that we would have struggled to do in 2 days alone. He loves his city and the history of it was so interesting. We had a great time, thank you and I wish there was a Serkan in every city I travelled to! :-)

We had an awesome time in Frankfurt, Germany with our outstanding guide and Frankfurt lifelong resident, Serkan Dogan!

We got to see the historical Römer area first:

• Old City Square
• Old Opera House
• St. Bartholomew's Cathedral
• Home of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe 

We also got to see modern Frankfurt:
• European Bank Headquarters
• Home of Oskar Schindler
• Main Train Station
• Financial District
• Former US Army Press Headquarters
• Maintower (tallest building in Europe with observation deck)

We got to enjoy an authentic Frankfurter sausage, Frankfurt-style veal schnitzel, sauerkraut, German potatoes, and Frankfurt's famous apple wine at the place the locals go and not a tourist venue. We also did some first-rate souvenir shopping and got some authentic German chocolate for the road.

Serkan was so friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and charming that it felt like seeing Frankfurt with a friend and not a guide. I cannot recommend his tour enough - it is a MUST if you visit Frankfurt!

A great way to spend a layover!

It was kind of a last minute decision to utilize our long layover in Frankfurt and it was amazing that Viator could arrange for the best guide on a short notice. Serkan C was amazing. Decent, friendly, cordial, with a very detailed knowledge of the history of Frankfurt and, of course, Serkan knew of all the best places to visit in 4-5 hours that we had.
We are already planning our next, longer, stop over in Frankfurt and we already know who to contact.

Excellent way to spend the day. We had a very long layover in Frankfurt so I booked this private tour of the city. Serkan came to pick us up at the airport. We spent almost 5 hours seeing Frankfurt. Serkan is an excellent guide. He knows the history and will give you as much as you want. We visited some gems of the city and ate the specialties of the area. Definitely do this instead of sitting in the airport

Serkan is an excellent guide. We had a several hour layover, he picked us up, did the tour and dropped us back off for our connecting flight. It couldn’t have worked out better. His knowledge of Frankfurt and its history kept us engaged. There were four of us with carryon luggage only and it was very tight in his car. We should have used a locker in the airport. Other than that we highly recommend his tour.
