Conny was an excellent guide with intrinsic knowledge of the area, including all of the local folklore about the palace and Ludwig II. If you have mobility issues, round trip horse wagon transport is available and well worth the small cost. The museum portion of the palace has folding chairs available at its exit that you may borrow to use on the tour.

All 3 castles are breathtaking. Herrenchiemsee is my favorite. Space is perfect. Every aspect is perfect.

Jeremy Tiegen was fun to be with and informative. All in all perfect!

We had a wonderful time with our guide Conny. After an hour on the train, we got to take a five-minute ride from the station to the shore of the lake in a 100-year old train. The weather was beautiful the day we went, so there were lots of sailboats and paddleboarders.

The palace grounds are stunning and the tour of the interior was fascinating. But the real highlight was the visit to Frauenchiemesee. We loved walking around the island and had time to have a nice lunch and look around the abbey and shops. It was a wonderful day and worth every penny!
