Ancient Corinth & Nafplion One-Day Tour from Athens

Well done. Just the right amount of time at all the sites. Our tour guide was well spoken and informative.

Tip for future: we should be in front of the Agency 8:05, departure planned at 8:15. In Real we were wainting and came 4 buses And we didn't know which one Is for our trip. After 3rd request to one of the quides he bring to us the guide for our trip. And the Real departure was 8:40. Finally it has no impact on the trip schedule. Bud if we would know the departure will be half ani hour later, we couldn't wake up that early as we did.

Nevertheless, the trip was very nice and comfortable.

We really enjoyed this tour. The guide talked on the drive about what we passed through Athens, which was great. The canal was impressive, the monastery was interesting, and seeing Ancient Corinth was wonderful. We also came on a day when there were not many people. I really loved it there.

mosaics and ruins interesting, not spectacular. Corinth Canal disappointing. Average guide and bus seats tight if you are above average height.

It was fascinatiing to this site and museum due to the mix of Roman and Greek influence with a touch of earlier history present. Worth the trip if you like hisotry

Great tour with great information. The guide stayed with us the entire trip and explained the history. The canal was gorgeous and wish we would have had more time to spend there.

We enjoyed this tour, and had the hotel pick up which was really nice. I will try to use this feature in the future as much as possible. It was a nice mini-bus and a small group. Great sites, and the guide was very good at relaying the history to us. Seeing these sights were very meaningful to us as Christians.

This was a great tour with Katie being exceptional! She was very patient with a wheelchair traveler and rude young people. Her knowledge of all places was amazing!

Daphni Monastery was the first stop. The marble painting with the golden finish inside the church were amazing. The design and finish of the monastery was unique and impressive. Corinth canal was the next stop where had the stunning view of the narrow canal in close quarters. Witness a bungy jump and were awe struck! Ancient Corinth was the last stop and to know a lot of treasure is still buried there to be excavated thrilled us! The tour guide was knowledgeable and patient in his explanations. Our appreciations to him and the driver who gave us a smooth ride

I was lucky to only have 10 people on my tour so we were in a very comfortable mini bus. My tour picked me up from a hotel about 5 minute walk from my own at 7:30am. They they take you to their main office where they move you into your correct bus for the day. Left the city at about 8:30am and came back at around 3pm. The tour guide (I think her name was Katrina) was absolutely fantastic! She had such great knowledge of her city and the places we went. First stop was the monastery and we were the only ones there so it was great for some quite time and photos. Back into the bus and a quick stop at the Corinth canal which is another photo opportunity and a place for toilets. Then onto Corinth where Katrina took us around the site explaining what everything was and showing photos of depictions of what they assumed it looked like. Then there was some free time to walk around yourself and take more photos. Then back onto the bus and they drop you off where you were collected from. A very easy trip and a must do to see more than just Athens.

Excellent tour guide. Wonderful review of the ruins/history of Greece. The visit to the museum and monastery was enlightening and informative.

A half-day tour with no hassle on pick up and drop off. Good enough time to explore and understand 3 sites: the Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth City and the Daphni Monastery.

This was a great tour on which to end our long tour of Greece. Our guide, Marina (I hope this is her name; I should have written this review a little earlier before jet lag, etc., set in) was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the sites, pointed out important landmarks as we drove along, answered our questions about everyday Greek life, and adapted her trip to fit our small group, including plenty of time for a snack at the Corinth Canal and shopping in Ancient Corinth. We took this trip solely as a way to visit Ancient Corinth but were delightfully surprised by the Daphni Monastery. The building and mosaics there are quite beautiful, and Marina gave us an excellent tour of this intriguing site. I would recommend this tour if you have a free day when visiting Athens.

We loved this tour. You first stop at Daphni Monastery and get a tour of it. Then you are off to tour the Corinth canal and on to Ancient Corinth. The Temple of Apollo stands out as you drive up to the entrance. You get to tour the museum as well which has a lot of artifacts and statues for a small museum. It is worth a trip to see it.

<p>Having seen the criticism of some Key Tours that participants were hurried by the guide, I was delighted that on this trip we were given adequate time for a participant with a walking frame to come round Corinth at her pace. The half day trip was, in the event, from 8.30 am having been picked up earlier till 3.30 pm. We saw what we came for and enjoyed the guide's replies to our questions. He did not push a Christian perspective, but there were enough believers on the trip to give the event a thoroughly Christian feel.</p>
