What You Will Do
The Eco-Long Tour has everything:
Touring through citrus-fruit villages.
Visit a wetland. The artificial lake of Agyia will be the highlight for the nature-lovers!
Learn about the villages that long-suffered warfare.
Stop at the park of Drakiana to enjoy a traditional Cretan snack in a unique setting by the river.
Cycle through the north Chania coastline.
Starting from our Meeting Point C, we`ll head to Agyia Lake. Passing through Galatas village and touring between orange, olive and avocado crops, we`ll arrive at the lake.
This artificial lake is the home of a large variety of species. We`ll have our binoculars to take a closer look!
After leaving the lake, we pass through villages that during WW2 suffered tortures and mass executions.
We arrive at the park of Drakiana, where we set aside our bikes and enjoy a traditional Cretan snack in a memorable setting by the river.
Next, we ride back our bikes and head back to our meeting point cycling through the north coastline of Chania.

The artificial lake of Agyia will be the highlight for the nature-lovers! This artificial lake is the home of a large variety of species. We`ll have our binoculars to take a closer look!
