What You Will Do
Explore downtown Budapest in a guided bike group. Regular or e-bikes. This tour takes you through the highlights of the city on the Pest side, all in a relaxed small group setting.
Our meeting point is conveniently located in the Jewish Quarter, just a few steps from the "Deak Square" metro station.
You'll ride through the charming alleyways of the Jewish Quarter and downtown, as well as along bike paths and through the City Park. We provide a bike with gears, either in trekking or cross style.
Alternatively, you can join the tour with e-bikes or choose our laid-back sunset program—whatever suits your preferences!

Bike & Relax is located in Madach Imre street 12, next to Gozsdu Court and Madach Square. Next metro/subway stop "Deak-Square" with M1, M2, M3 + trams 47,48,49 + airport bus 100E.

Andrassy Avenue
Most famous street connecting the City Center with the Hero's Square and City Park. Passes Nagymezö street, the "Broadway of Budapest", Liszt Square and the Ring Roads. Location of House of Terror.

House of Terror Museum

Former GESTAPO headquarters, prison of the communist era. Has been converted into a remarkable museum. Shows a part of the Berlin Wall in front. (You will not enter the museum)

Has been designed to celebrate 1000year anniversary of Hungary in 1896. Gives an overview about Central European History. Unique chance to see a complex past in a nutshell. From King Stephen to revolutionary Kossuth.

On your way into the City Park you will pass in wintertime one of the most famous ice rings in Europe. In summertime an artificial lake is inviting for a boat trip.

Budapest City Park, approx. one square km of park in the heart of the city. Currently undergoing some redesigning, nevertheless popular space for leisure, recreation and sport.

St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika)

Largest catholic Church in Budapest, shows the right hand of St. Stephen under a glass. Beautifully renovated and a highlight of Downtown. (No visit into the church)

Szabadsag ter

On one hand the "Wallstreet" of Budapest, on the other place of bloody history. Shows at least one controversial memorial and some ironic moments as well. Remember the Holocaust and Second World War in Budapest.

Hungarian Parliament Building

Historical monument and operational Parliament. Impressive building on the river bank, one of the landmarks of Budapest. Beautifully renovated a "must see". (No entrance included) Turning around the building you will see a stunning panorama of the Danube and Buda-Side of the City.

Shoes on the Danube Bank

Pass by "The Shoes" next to the Parlament. Please note that depending on traffic a direct access can not always be granted.

Szechenyi Lanchid
Pass by the oldest bridge across the river, the Chain Bridge.

Rudas Baths

On your way along the river you will pass one of the oldest Turkish Baths in Budapest, the Rudas. If you would like to come here and bath, make sure to check the opening schedule, there are man- and woman days for the Hammam.

St. Gellert Thermal Bath and Swimming Pool
Your last stop on Buda-side will be at the Gellert Baths. Famous for art-deco style it is dominating the river bank.

Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid)

Originally named after Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph it became the "Liberty Bridge" after the end of the monarchy. Meeting point of students and youths to enjoy the amazing view.

Central Market Hall
A main tourist attraction is the Central Market. You should plan to return here to taste Hungarian food and enjoy the athmosphere.

You pass the National Museum, a place to go when you are deeply interested in the region and all peoples who have been living in this area.

Great / Central Synagogue (Nagy Zsinagoga)

You will stop to see the Great Synagogue at the border of the Jewish Quarter in moorish style. (You will not enter the Synagogue on this tour). From here you will return to the starting point.
