Women Of Ireland: Trailblazers & Pioneers
Dublin, Ireland
1 hour 30 minutes
What You Will Do
History is filled with stories of great expeditions, fearless rebels, amazing inventions, brave patriots and scientific advancements.
Most of the famous stories and achievements are of men, but what of the women? Did they not have great expeditions? Were they not fearless rebels? Did they not play a role in scientific advancements and society as a whole?
We know that history is written by the victors. The victors, historically being male, means that quite often the roles of women throughout Irish History and their adventures to distant lands are forgotten.
On this 1.5 hour tour we celebrate and explore the lives and stories of some of these women. Immerse yourself in their incredible lives and achievements while navigating Dublins’ Fair City.
