Classic Private Walking Tour Bologna

Despite the crappy weather our tour guide did a great job of showing us the historic sites of Bologna and helped us with a few restaurant recommendations.

Christina was very warm and friendly. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the morning with. Started at the Neptune fountain which was beautiful. Finished with entrance to the 7 churches.

The guide was wonderful person but her English was not very good so sometimes it was hard to understand her. For the money it really was not worth it. Felt the background of the places we saw was not very complete especially from an historical prospective. The guide was on the phone for long time during the tour and was socializing with other guides verses focused on the experience. She did not realize we had food tasting as part of the experience so gave me the food voucher at the end of the tour and I did not know where to go to redeem it. She was slow walking and I wish we had cover more places.

We chose a private walking tour of Bologna. It was the perfect tour to get to know this beautiful city. Our tour guide Sara was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable and passionate about the history, culture and culinary traditions that make Bologna so unique! We would highly recommend this tour but especially Sara! She was an absolute gem!

I was staying in Florence, but decided to take the train to Bologna in order to get a glimpse of the red city. I chose this tour because I thought it would be ideal for a first impression of the Bologna and wow, it was much more than that. We were lucky enough to have Ricardo as a guide, who turned out to be as knowledgeable about art and history as passionate about his hometown. Grazie Ricardo, sei stato bravissimo!

The oldest University, centuries of history dating back to the 13th century. The energy and welcoming feel of the walls and it’s people. Loved food, the churches and the towers. A college town full of life and rich in history! Loved it!

Christina was a great tour guide. We had a private tour and she provided great information about her city. She told us what other things we could do in Bologna and gave us a great understanding of the city and the food unique to Bologna. You can tell she loves what she does and loves Bologna.

The biggest waste of 2 hours. We couldn’t wait for the tour to end! We got nothing out of the tour. The tour guide was lost!

They changed the time for morning to afternoon at last min and tour was 2 hrs vs what we thought was 3 hrs.
Guide was knowledgeable just a little dry.

Gini was an excellent guide. Her study of the History and charismatic presentation was informative and entertaining.

The wonderful guide Virginia created a perfect tour with her balance of knowledge and humor. She was also very attentive to each person in our family - young and old.

For the price we paid, the food offered was terrible and a poor reflection on your team and Bologna.
