What You Will Do
Cultural historical walk in a surprising and unexpected city. Contact with local life, culture and food and wine. We will visit the Church of San Andrea with the wonderful pulpit by Giovanni Pisano, a jewel of medieval sculpture. In the Cathedral we will be able to admire the silver altar dedicated to San Jacopo, a marvel of unique goldsmith's art. We will then move on to admire the Robbiane that decorate the facade of the Spedale Del Ceppo, the last and only masterpiece by Giovanni Della Robbia. from medieval legends to Renaissance masterpieces, to the discovery of a hidden city.

Political and religious center. One of the most beautiful squares in Italy. Palazzo Comunale: atrium and sculpture by Marino Marini. Cathedral with visit to the silver altar of San Jacopo (admission fee), altarpiece of the Sacred Conversation by Verrocchio, tomb of Cardinal Forteguerri and crucifix by Coppo. Palace of Justice: atrium with frescoes. Baptistery with intact baptismal font from the 13th century. Palazzo dei Vescovi, home to a private museum.
