What You Will Do
Visit the most beautiful spring garden in the world! The Keukenhof gardens are open from end of March till mid-May. At the Keukenhof gardens there are about 4.5 million tulips being planted along with daffodils, hyacinths and crocuses. After visiting the Keukenhof we head to the Zaanse Schans, a beautiful preservation village with a variety of historical houses, and working industrial windmills. You will experience how life was between the 18th and 19th centuries. We’ll enjoy a pleasant stroll passing the old wooden houses with their preserved original details, visit a windmill, indulge in a Gouda cheese tasting at the cheese farm, concluding with a traditional handcraft demonstration of making clogs. Discover the enchanting world of tulips and windmills with the Windmill Girls. We are two passionate local guides who were raised in windmills, let our rich heritage and engaging tales make your journey truly unforgettable.
