Warsaw

On the Food Tour You will taste a few traditional Polish dishes. We will go to the five different restaurants. For the starter You will try herrings with the sausages and traditional polish vodka made from potatos. Next we will go to the old style restaurant. In this fancy place You will have occasion to try traditional easter sour soup żurek with egg and sausage which is traditionaly served in the bread bowl. For the next You will try stuffed cabbage and traditional winter stew bigos which is made from cabbage, mushrooms and meat. Now it’s time for the pastry. In the oldest café in Warsaw You will have occasion to try donat with a rose jam which traditional local dessert. In the last place You will have aperitif which are three different types of liquer. In the past they were made and served on the manors of the polish aristocrats. I hope this tour will bring You unforgettable memories.

After touring Warsaw's Old Town, we went into the Bazyliszek restaurant, where I ordered a Highlander's pie. The restaurant has a very atmospheric vibe, reminiscent of the interwar period. It was a great way to end the trip, during which I visited many interesting places and learned a lot of new things.
