What You Will Do

Venture off the coast of Portugal and discover the beautiful Berlenga Island on a half-day catamaran tour from Peniche + snorkeling equipment included. Head to the protected archipelago for a day and a half of hiking trails and enjoying the stunning scenery; snorkeling equipment is included (fins + mask). Upon arrival at the island, you can hike the trails, visit the São João Batista Fortress and snorkel. The guest is free to explore the island and do the snorkeling activity. The Berlenga archipelago is a group of small islands located 5.7 miles off the coast of Peniche and comprises the islands of Berlenga, Estelas and Farilhões. Berlenga is the only inhabited island. In 2011, UNESCO classified the Berlengas as a "World Biosphere Reserve", which is indicative of the rich fauna and flora that can be found on the islands.
