Bratislava Traditional Food Tour

Enjoyed sampling the local cuisine and hearing about the history of Bratislava. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to some interesting places that we wouldn’t have found on our own.

I took this food tour with my partner and we both really enjoyed it. We were able to try lots of different Slovakian foods and learn about the foods as well. Our guide did a great job explaining things and kept things interesting. The tour is also a great value - we were definitely both very full by the end. If you're interesting in trying some Slovakian food, I highly recommend this tour!

We were travelling from Amsterdam to Bratislava to Vienna for our Wedding Anniversary and came across Taste Bratislava I can honestly say this was the BEST day of our whole trip Daniela could not have done anything better. We woud never have found the place she took us to, and the food.....WOW Daniela was an excellent guide. She is very knowldgeable about her county and city, its traditions, foods, wines etc. I am a wheelchair user and Daniela changed the rour to take that into account, which for me was just AWESOME!!!! The food and drink we tried were all delicious, and we were stuffed at the end of it all. Daniela also recommened some restaurants and bar for after the tour, for the rest of our trip. They were great. Daniela is the epitome of customer service, we felt valued as customers. She went above and beyond what was expected. I cannot recommend her of this tour highly enough

Daniela was such a fantastic host! The food tour was perfect - all the food was delicious and we got a wide variety with each dish tying to a part of Slovak history and tradition. Come to the tour hungry! ☺️

On this afternoon-long, relaxed food tour, we were introduced to Slovakian wine, cheeses and a traditional Slovakian meal. We made at least five stops while leisurely walking through the city. Our guide, Daniella, was a gifted hostess. Her knowledge of the local cuisine and her infectious enthusiasm ensured that we had a fun tour. When choosing a food tour in Bratislava, choose this one and ask for Daniella.

This Food tour in Bratislava was awesome. We enjoyed all the delicious food and Daniela was such a lovely guide. She went above and beyond and was very accomodating with our four teens. A great experience, totally recommend them!

This tour was a wonderful experience learning about the history of Slovakia while sampling some delicious foods! The guide Daniela was very knowledgeable & told us lots of interesting facts about Bratislava & the Old Town. It was a really well balanced tour, we would eat a little and then walk, then eat some more and then walk again! & the food was delicious 😁 Awesome Slovak experience! Highly recommended!

The sommelier was a great guy, knows a lot about wine and also likes to drink a lot of it. We got drunk with him and that was really fun👍🏼😂

We often do food tours when in a new place. It allows you to learn a bit about where you are, understand the culture a little better and you get a meal. Taste Bratislava was perfect and a unique feature was their careful choosing of the restaurants, which focused on that as an apart experience. Each restaurant had something special...for example our first restaurant was in a retro theme.
Anna was a lovely guide and took her time with us, allowing us slowly to eat and not rushing us. She also helped us plan our further destination (high Tatra) giving us helpful suggestions. I highly recommend this tour and Anna. It is not cheap but well worth it and lots of fun. And we tasted delicious local foods as well.

Bratislava is a beautify city and this food tour is brilliant way to learn more about it. My girlfriend and I (and our 1 year old daughter) had a great time on the tour seeing the sights and eating loads of great traditional food. Our guide (Daniela) was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Myself and my girlfriend went on this tour and we really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic. Got to try all local dishes and Daniela's knowledge of both the food and the history of Bratislava was excellent. Would highly recommend.

A lovely afternoon spent sampling local food and drinks with a knowledgeable and pleasant guide. Well worth doing, highly recommended.

Love it ,love it, love it. Food was great,drink was great, and learn a lot of local food history, culture and later our tour manager send us recipt which we were interesting by email. It was our first food tour experience, and it was wonderful, make us want to try it somewhere else next time. We really enjoyed Craft Beer Tour in Bratislava. We went to interesting places I would probably never have found on my own. The guide was nice and very knowledgeable. She was very helpful and friendly too. We had a great time. It was fun! Highly recommended. Must do!

We took this tour a few days ago, and the guide for our family of 4 (2adults, 2x 14 year olds) was Paul.
Great guide, knowledgable about Bratislava (from there), food and also gave us insight into history.
He met us at our accommodation and we walked into the old town where our tour commenced.
It was a good duration- about 3 1/2 hrs, and we visited:
1 'bar/restaurant' and ate bread with traditional spreads, with lemon/mint water for kids, wine for us.
Then walk into middle of old town to a restaurant that you otherwise wouldn't know existed (used to be a monastery). Ate traditional soup, followed by 5 different dishes (2 with Sheeps cheese), traditional non-alcoholic drink and then beer for adults.
From there to a old fashioned shop where we ate traditional pastries and smoked cheese.
Then to honey shop and to finish, a 'schnapps bar' (kids had water).

Price wasn't cheap- €196 (€59 and €39), but still worthwhile. Only thing that might have been good was a larger dessert offering (only had 2 sweet pastries).
Great guide- really enjoyable afternoon (from 1pm to about 4.30).
