This was an outstanding tour. Omid was an amazing guide as he provided both and educational and fun overview of the area. His driver Juan Carlos was also excellent and very professional. I highly recommend this day trip and tour.

We had a lovely day with Hengameh and Eduardo, traveling to Girona, Pals and Palafrugell. We were especially taken with h the small village of Pals, it is remarkably well preserved and we felt like we were stepping back in time. Hengameh is very knowledgeable about the region and lived in Girona so she had great insight into the best spots to see while we were there.

We had a nice time visiting Girona and Palafrugell. We visited on one of the Catalan holidays, Sant Jordi, so it was extra full with people and spring weather made it cool, but Dulce had warned us to wear layers which helped. She greeted us with gifts in honor of the holiday which was very kind. Our driver, Wander, was very safe and nice. Dulce has a lot of historical knowledge and passionately shares that knowledge. I think if you wanted to visit (and stay in a quiet beach town, Palafrugell would be a nice break from huge crowds and a fast pace.

This is our first time in Spain, more specifically Barcelona. We schedule a private guide to take us to Girona and Costa Brava. Mario is AMAZING!! He arrived at our hotel right on time and we were in an amazing Volvo car for the day. We first went to Girona and had a drink before starting our tour. After Girona we went to Pals which was also amazing. He is very educated and was able to explain more then enough of the history of the region. Since this was a private tour he took us to a Winery before going to the coast which was a bonus! He is also a singer and guitarist and played for us while we were visiting the winery which was an additional bonus. All and All a fantastic first day in Barcelona and would recommend Mario without hesitation!!!!

A great way to experience Barcelona in a single day! The guide was friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. We saw iconic landmarks and hidden gems. It was the perfect way to see the city’s top sights without feeling overwhelmed. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona for the first time!

Outstanding tour with a fun and knowledge tour guide! Costa Brava is strikingly beautiful; make sure you walk the Roman wall in Girona and take lots of photos in relaxing Pals (like Tuscany in Spain!).

Our tour of Girona & Costa Brava was amazing! Not only was the scenery breathtaking, it was the knowledge and demeanor of our tour guide (David) that really made the tour enjoyable. David personalized the tour - he asked us at the beginning what type of things we were interested in and focused on those things. (his knowledge of the history of the areas that we visited was extensive) My daughter and I are very interested in history and the areas that we toured definitely didn't disappoint! This tour offers the gamut of landscape - from lush flatland areas with olive trees to gorgeous mountain scenery to the stunning views of the coast. In Costa Brava, David recommended a fabulous restaurant off the beach for lunch. He shared his recommendations for local cuisine (we had black rice paella and finished with two desserts - Catalan Cream and Cottage Cheese....not the cottage cheese we think of in the United States!) Everything was fabulous! My daughter and I took several tours while on vacation in the Barcelona area. This was hands down our favorite! The variety of areas visited, history of the area, natural beauty and personalization provided by our tour guide gave us a wonderful experience that we will always treasure!

This was the second (private) tour with Manu, whose tour of Barcelona was so fun, engaging and knowledgeable that we requested him for this tour!
Girona and Costa Brava are a must-see. The medieval town of Girona, its cathedrals and architecture (some dating back to Roman settlement), is gorgeous. The Jewish quarter is a highlight too. Manu suggested a quick snack break for coffee and pastry before a trip into the countryside to visit small villages, where we sampled Vermut and wine and, separately, a wonderful lunch of local dishes. Manu has cultivated relationships that assure an insightful, fun, and enriching local experience! The Costa Brava scenery is so beautiful that simply driving through is a pleasure, though the coastal stop was breathtaking.
As with our Barcelona tour with Manu, we would give this private tour six stars if we could. The benefit of a private tour -- flexibility according to desires, getting to know the guide and getting more insight into the locality -- far outweighs the extra cost!

We’ve been three times to Bcn but finally brought our teen sons to the most beautiful city in the world. As part of our trip, we decided to choose a private tour to see other parts of Catalonia. It was one of the best decisions!!

Go with David. He is so kind, funny and knows so much about the history and the areas where he took us. He maintained a comfortable pace and shared perspectives that you only get with a “local” where his family represent generations of Catalan way of life. He felt more like a friend than a guide!

The tour gives you an incredible glimpse into the city that is surrounded by rivers, the city that surrounded by wetlands and to end at one of most quintessential fishing village on the Costa Brava.

Girona was an amazing tour. If your are a GOT fan it is great to try and identify the various landmarks. If you didn’t know you were in Spain you would swear you were in a quaint Italian village. Costa Brava was nice to relax and enjoy the view and have lunch

This was an amazing tour. We got to experience the historical sites of Girona and Pals along with the beaches of Costa Brava. The tour guide Omid was very knowledgeable and nice. We were able to take lots of pics and had plenty of free time. The drivers Wander and Augusto were very nice too.
