Tapas & Sidecar Motorcycle Barcelona Tour

We had a great tapas and side car tour. We had three guides to accommodate our family of five. Lorenzo, David, and Johannes were all very friendly and engaging. All three were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the city. We had already toured part of the city and they customized the tour to focus on areas we had not yet seen. Went to a cozy local eatery for delicious variety of tapas. They had some great food suggestions for our family and went out of their way to make all three of our kids feel comfortable and welcome. Lorenzo went so far as to purchase an extra piece of cheese cake as a surprise parting gift for one of our kids who was especially effusive about the cheesecake at dinner. Highly recommend the tour and all three guides.

Our sidecar tour was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Our guide Lorenzo, was very knowledgeable and personable, just the kind of person you want spend the afternoon with. The entire tour felt customized and personalized. Being on the motorcycle allowed us to go places we wouldn't have been able to in a car or bus. The tapas restaurant Lorenzo took us to felt very authentic and not a tourist trap, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful adventure we had one evening while visiting Barcelona with our 3 teenage children. Everyone loved it. The bikes are so much fun and surprisingly comfortable. All 3 of our guides (Joe, July, and Lorrezo) were extremely personable and engaging. We learned so much about the history, architecture, and culture of Barcelona. The guides adjusted the itinerary on the fly based on what we had already seen in the city, and to avoid the traffic of a soccer game. For a fabulous evening of sightseeing, tapas, and cava, you should definitely take this tour!

I have been on a bright side tour before some three years ago, it was really great then and still is today. Myself and my daughter opted for the tapas tour. Our guide Jo was informative, fun and very good motorcyclist. We toasted each other with a glass of cava courtesy of bright side tours whilst looking across the amazing city. Well worth the money, the tapas at the end was lovely. I thoroughly recommend taking any of the tours, thank you for an amazing experience.

In the beginning, I was a little concerned because I had a phone call about an hour to hour and half before we were supposed to take this tour. I was advised they had an issue with one of their sidecars, and asked if I would I be able to reschedule. We had just flown in that day, so we were a bit tired, so I said sure, it wasn’t a problem and they rescheduled for the next day. But we did go the next day!

I booked this as a surprise for my husband. I told him we needed to go stand outside to wait for the surprise and he saw the sidecar parked on the street. He says, I bet this isn’t it, because he knows I’m not that adventurous. I’ve never been on motorcycle in my life. Joe promptly came out of the hotel where he had gone in quickly and greeted us.

He was very kind and helped me get my helmet on and off. I chose to sit in the actual side car, (thanks hubby for being cool about that) and off we went. I took quite a bit of video of the adventure, it was so much fun!!

We stopped at many excellent locations for Tapas, wine and beer. Joe was very cool, he and my hubby got a long great as motorcycle riders - my husband used to race motorcycles. So they talked shop a lot. :) He did give us quite a bit of history too!

We saw a lot of Barcelona and appreciated some of the stops that we hadn’t already seen on foot. It really was a great tour, well worth the cost!

Would definitely do again!

The food was amazing and our tour guide was very professional. I would absolutely recommend this to others.

Alessandro and Pau were the ultimate hosts and guides. We had a very safe and enjoyable, unique experience that we can recommend to anyone including those traveling with young children. Included were food and drink recommendations along the way, helmets equipped with headphones to communicate with the knowledgeable guides, a stop with chilled Cava to enjoy overlooking the city. Highly recommended.

Our group had an amazing time on the tapas tour with Alessandro and the Joaos! We got to learn all about the city and history and make some new friends! It was also our favorite food of the trip. Highly recommend to everyone. We had people who have owned motorcycles their whole lives, to a couple who have never sat on one. Everyone had a blast! Thanks for the memories, guys!!

This was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. My family and I were privileged to have Joao, Joe, Pau, and Alessandro as our tour guides and they were fantastic. They made the experience enjoyable and informative and left me with a greater appreciation for the city of Barcelona. All four drivers were extremely respectful and incredibly well versed in the history, culture, and geography of Barcelona. Not booking them would have been a mistake.

This was an incredible experience for me and my wife! It is an innovative activity that gives a different kind of experience while learning about the culture and the city. It's much more exciting than touring in a van. Our guide was Joao and he was super friendly and knowledgeable! He took us to 2 different restaurants for tapas which both had delicious food while explaining to us how people in Spain like to eat. The activity was totally safe and the helmets had speakers and a microphone so we can talk to each other. At the end of the activity, he gave us a map as well as other recommendations of what to visit in Barcelona. It was quite a romantic activity for our honeymoon, and one that we won't forget. I highly suggest doing this kind of tour early on in your visit to Barcelona as it will help you get acquainted with the area. We will recommend this tour to all our friends who plan to visit Barcelona.

Had a great day on the motorcycle tour. The owner was a great tour guide and his other driver was also amazing. We enjoyed seeing the various areas of Barcelona and learning about the development of the city. Would recommend this tour to anyone!!

Joao was fantastic! He provided us with a perfect overview of Barcelona highlights and helped us, on our first day in town, understand how best to shape the rest of our time in town.

This was the highlight of our family’s vacation! I did this same tour with my girlfriends a couple of years ago when we visited Barcelona and it was so terrific, I had to share it with my family! They all loved it! The tour guides are knowledgeable and so much fun! The food was amazing both times! We were so lucky we took our trip in November, 2019, before the pandemic.

They have many tour options but we chose the Foodie/Tapas Tour. Our drivers/tour guides picked us up at 7p. Over the next 3.5 hours our group of 10 cruised around sightseeing and stopped at 3 different restaurants for Tapas — all via these fun motorbikes. Our guides spoke to us through microphones that transmitted to our helmets. Delicious and fun! 😋

It was a special experience that I highly recommend — especially if you are traveling with teens. Eye-rolls quickly changed to huge smiles and fist bumps. 👊🏻

The best time ever, was able to experience the foodie and not drive! Our driver was awesome, my husband and I really enjoyed it.
