Excellent wine and tapas tour

Raul was a fabulous guide. He shared his knowledge and the history of Sevilla with exuberance, love and humor. We highly recommend a tour with him.
Anniversary weekend in Sevilla

We didn't go with any tours but literally walked the old city especially around the Jewish Quarter finding amazing Tapas and Wines.
Pre the visit we did our usual research on which restaurants to go to. When we arrived you can find so many great Tapas bars all selling lovely red Tempranillo wines or authentic Sevilla Orange wine we just stopped and ate at the ones that had the best buzz and vibes. I couldn't tell you the names late evening is the best for the area to come alive. Such a friendly city with amazing value for money meals. For two of us with a bottle of red and maybe sharing 8 tapas dishes was about 50 euros. Some of the best dishes used local oranges as a marmalade almost with pork or cured meats, lovely baby octopus, shrimp or crab croquettes. Very few dishes just added something on top of a piece of bread which was refreshing to see. They have one or two amazing bread with fresh tomatoes on however, quite often eaten at breakfast, so tssty

I booked this for a group of 8 friends and was very disappointed, especially when comparing with a similar, but fantastic, tour we did in Madrid.
Why?
- Very Expensive (almost €100 each)
- Went to just 4 touristy bars, all very close together and very much 'on' the beaten track
- Food was poor to average
- Wine was very limited and awful
- Guides English was poor
Once the tour was over, 2 of us went to another 'local' tapas bar where we had much better food and wine for next to nothing in cost.
POOR SHOW VIATOR!!!!!
