What You Will Do

Discover 2,000 years of Tarragona's history by visiting the different spaces of the Cathedral with a guide. The Cathedral is witness to an exciting history of two thousand years that you will be able to discover first-hand, learning about the different historical stages that the Cathedral has experienced and enjoying the impressive artistic heritage of which it is a part. It includes a visit to the central nave with a Romanesque plan and surprisingly illuminated, where you can admire the impressive Gothic-style rose window on the main façade, as well as the magnificent Renaissance organ and the neat Gothic altarpiece of the main altar. The guided tour continues through the largest Romanesque cloister in Catalonia and the rooms of the Diocesan Museum with its collection of medieval and modern art, as well as the Archaeological Route that runs along the perimeter wall of the imperial city of Tarraco.
