Excellent guide who was able to answer our endless questions. Plenty of time at the stops. And an early (9am) start meant we missed the crowds and traffic jams in August. Absolutely beautiful island.

Basso was THE BEST tour guide we have ever had. He came to pick us up at our hotel and took us to various cities / villages around Tenerife. He drove safely (not easy task for the many twist and turns of the south coast) and was knowledgeable about the island’s history, its vegetation and the different micro climates. He gave us time to explore on our own at each stop and was very patient with the kids (10, 8 and 6 years old with lots of energy). We also stopped to eat at a guachinche (authentic Canarian food) and a typical bakery - both very good! We will never forget this experience and we highly recommend this tour to family with children that want to take their time exploring and making memories.

We had an amazing full-day private tour of Tenerife with Basso at Get Holiday. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and generous with his time, going above and beyond to ensure that we saw everything we hoped for. We learned so much about Tenerife and the history/culture of the Canary Islands, and we saw some stunning scenery that we would never have been able to manage on our own. He also took us to an authentic restaurant off the beaten path for lunch that was built inside someone's home and the food was absolutely delicious. We felt very safe with Basso driving us on many winding roads at high elevations and were thankful that we had a pro at the wheel. This tour was worth every penny and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the full beauty of this island with an awesome tour guide.

This trip & tour guide was fantastic! Basso picked us up at our hotel, took us on a tour around the island & could answer every question we had about the island. My husband and I had the good fortune to do a tour with Basso Lanzone of Get Holiday. He is well informed, punctual,friendly and very professional. His love of the island is contagious and he made the trip feel real and genuine which is something other tourist companies could learn. We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Teide, masca valley, garacchico and more. We highly recommend him as a guide and hope to do more touring with him in the future.

We had the most amazing day around Tenerife, from the breathtaking landscapes of the Teide National Park to the history-packed villages in the north-west.
Basso is clearly doing this because he loves it. The amount of passion and hard work that led him to being recognized as an official guide of the Canary Islands is clearly reflected in the volume of information he is able to reveal. Trust me, I tried hard, but even after almost 8 hours of questions, I was not able to find something he did not know. Point at a plant: he knows its name, its latin name, and its role in the flora of the island. Point at a mountain: he knows its name, its origin, and most probably its altitude.
If you really want to learn something about Tenerife rather than just looking at nice landscapes, than he is the man!

From the moment we were collected from our hotel, Basso was an excellent guide. We had a private trip for the two of us and decided to let Basso choose where to go (this was our first time in Tenerife). We drove to the north of the island, up, over and around the mountains. Stunning scenery and scary roads but we always felt safe. We were at Mount Teide as the sun set and the view above the clouds was stunning. One tip is to wear warm clothes - long trousers and a jacket as it is very chilly when you eave the south

We arrived in Tenerife for a week long Concert tour with 45 musicians and a variety of activities planned and Basso was our guide and tour manager for the entire week! We couldn't have had a more informed or better guide. His knowledge of the Island is without doubt exceptional and it was his expert knowledge that ensured that we had the most outstanding concert tour of Tenerife with all concerts managed expertly, all trips and visits to several tourist attractions completely on schedule and the transport was excellent throughout.

The trip to the Teide National Park was informative and the entire party was engaged throughout the whole time by both Basso and Mary (also a fabulous tour guide) - no mean feet with 45 teenagers!

Basso expertly and competently handled the whole week of trips and concerts. His local knowledge is second to none and we would recommend him, without reservation, for any tours within Tenerife whether that be to Teide or any other trip on the Island.
