Mirador de los Poleos
1 hour
30-Minute Tour at Mirador Los Poleos – Tenerife
This short but stunning tour takes you to Mirador Los Poleos, a scenic viewpoint tucked away in the highlands of Tenerife, near the western part of the island. It's a hidden gem where nature feels untouched and the air is crisp and clear.
️ What to Expect
You’re greeted by panoramic views that stretch all the way to the neighboring island of La Gomera, which often appears floating on the Atlantic like a peaceful, green mountain. On especially clear days, you might even catch glimpses of El Hierro or La Palma on the horizon.
Scenery & Atmosphere
The viewpoint itself is surrounded by rugged volcanic terrain and lush pine forests. It’s incredibly peaceful—no crowds, just the sound of the wind and birds, the islands you’re seeing, and even a bit of local history.
Photo Opportunities
This is the kind of place where every angle is photogenic—whether it's the sea, the silhouette of La Gomera, or the rolling hills of Tenerife itself.

Pico Viejo

30-Minute Tour – Pico Viejo, Teide National Park
This short but powerful tour takes you to the dramatic landscape of Pico Viejo, the second-highest peak in Tenerife after Mount Teide, and a key part of the island’s volcanic story.
At the Edge of a Crater
Pico Viejo is a massive volcanic crater and it's where one of Tenerife’s most impressive eruptions started back in 1798.
Views That Tell a Story
From the viewpoint, you get sweeping views over Teide National Park, with layers of solidified lava, strange rock formations, and vivid colors in the volcanic soil—reds, blacks, and ochres. You can also see all the way to the coast, and on a clear day, even spot La Gomera, La Palma, or El Hierro in the distance.
Quick but Unforgettable Walk
Though it’s not a long hike, the path takes you close to lava fields and lets you peer into the vast crater. The air is thin, the sky is often crystal clear, and the silence of the park adds to the surreal experience.
