Meeting Point
Skärgårdens Kanotcenter Kayaks & Outdoor Our kayak center is located about 30 min by car / 45 min by bus from Stockholm. Our nearest bus stop is 100m away and is called Engarn.
Glide along in your canoe to discover the beauty of Stockholm Archipelago. At the end of the day find beautiful spot to make it home for the night. Jump into on our our canoes and paddle through maginificent Bogesund Nature Reserve – a place where for about 1000 years ago Vikings were living. Now it’s nature reserve with green meadows, old oak trees and farms with horses. Paddling silently by narrow fjord is great chance to spot beavers. Don’t forget to look around. An osprey or a white-tailed sea eagle may just fly above your head. You can also spot other coastal birds including oystercatchers, grey heron, lapwing, cormorant, seagulls. Sheltered water, without traffic of ferries and bigger vessels are beginners friendly and will be perfect choice for family canoe trip. There are nice places to make a break for BBQ, swimming spots, fishing and even hiking trails. It’s worth taking a break to stretch your legs, hike and perhaps pick up some berries in the woods. You choose the date of trip, we provide all you need to create your own unforgettable adventure. When you arrive, you will be provided with fully equipped canoe and camping equipment. Together we will go through safety briefing and discuss the plan for the best route for your journey. The adventure is now all yours! We can meet any time during the day when kayak center is open: week days 10 - 18, weekends 10 - 17 (please let us know about time while booking).
