What You Will Do
Embark on a Swedish holiday experience in the winter wonderland of Stockholm on a two-hour guided small group tour. Partake in the magic of a Swedish Christmas with the expertise of a local guide. While you explore Christmas markets, enjoy holiday delicacies and treats!
Begin your tour in front of the Nobel Museum, where you'll meet your guide and dive into the Old Town's Christmas Market. Let yourself be dazzled by the Christmas lights in Stockholm.
Next, discover how Christmas is celebrated in Sweden, from the food, to the traditions and rituals. You will be able to soak up the Swedish Christmas spirit with a tasting of holiday dishes and treats.
Disclaimers:
- the Christmas light displays start only around 3 pm as of November 15th, 2024 (so you won't see most lights turned on if you choose the morning tour)
- the Old Town Christmas market is only open from November 23rd to December 24th, but there are other markets we will refer you to if you join us before Nov 23rd.

Meeting Point
We meet in front of the entrance to the Nobel Prize Museum in Stortorget, where the Old Town Christmas market is located. The guide will be wearing an orange name tag and an orange hat that says "Xperience Stockholm". Please arrive 10 mins before, especially if you want to explore the market!

Stortorget
20 minutes
Our guide (wearing a yellow vest or neon lanyard) will meet you in front of the entrance to the Nobel Prize Museum. Please arrive 10 mins prior to the starting time so you have time to check-in and even check out the Christmas market in more detail.

Iglesia Alemana
10 minutes
We will pass by the German Church and talk about typical Swedish Christmas traditions.

Gamla Stans Polkagriskokeri
20 minutes
Try the sweet and sour candies made at this 1800's traditional candy shop.

Skeppsbrokajen Promenade
10 minutes
Here, we will discuss the history of the world's tallest natural Christmas Tree and delve deeper into what kind of Christmas decorations are displayed in most Swedish households.

Nybroplan
30 minutes
We make our way to the Christmas lights of the Moose Family outdoor installation, as these Nordic animals guide us on the way to the North Pole and Santa Claus.

Kungstradgarden Park
30 minutes
We end our Xmas Experience at the King's Garden, where you can try out ice skating and a cup of mulled wine alongside some gingerbread cookies - a nice heartwarming ending to our Christmas time together.
