What You Will Do

Your adventure begins as you're greeted by a local professional guide, they will meet you in the lobby of your hotel, embarking on for a two-hour walking tour to uncover the city's highlights. Marvel at the striking Lucerne Railway Station, renowned for its magnificent entrance hall and sleek curved roof, a masterpiece crafted by the acclaimed architect Santiago Calatrava. As you stroll past the station, then you'll encounter the enchanting Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and Water Tower, dating back to the 14th century, making it Europe's oldest covered wooden footbridge. Along the Reuss River promenade, discover the Jesuit Church (Jesuitenkirche), an impressive baroque-style church steeped in history. Continuing your exploration through the well-preserved lanes of the Old Town. Your guided tour culminates at Lucerne's poignant Dying Lion monument, a somber sculpture paying tribute to the Swiss Guards who perished during the French Revolution in Paris in 1792.

Chapel Bridge

You will admire every single moment walking over Europe’s oldest surviving wooden bridge dating back to the 14th century. This pedestrian bridge contains several paintings dating back to the 17th century. A part of this flourishing bridge was partially destroyed by fire caused in 1993, but was rebuilt later.
