Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Swiss Alps region

Even with some rainy weather the views were spectacular! Our guide Carlos was wonderful and drove the group of 6 of us up mountainous roads with ease and expertise. Plenty of stops to enjoy the views but there are some hills to climb so not for people who have difficulty especially with the higher altitude. Still it can be taken slowly and so worth it! Great way to get out of the city and enjoy nature.

My wife and I had a 15 hour layover in Zurich and wanted to take the opportunity to see the natural beauty of the alps, the Interlaken region and stunning Grindelwald. Our guide Álvaro was both knowledgeable and very personable. He found the best vantage points and provided plenty of time for us to take in the sights and be surrounded by the culture. He even took photos for us (with a creative twist!) and surprised us with a lakefront treat. We had absolutely no regrets and made it back in time to catch our connecting flight without feeling rushed.

Switzerland has many beautiful places and Alvaro was the right person to get us there. I was very satisfied and would gladly use this service again.

It's a small group tour, around 8 people including our driver and tour guide. Forgot his name (so sorry) , a young refine, respectful, honest and considerate civil engineer gentleman from Seville ,Spain. Very knowledgeable, gone to small hidden secrets of the swiss alps. Had a wonderful lunch at Grindelwald with a traditional swiss chocolate fundue.

Classic beauty of the Alps. Nate was punctual, helpful and got us some great views/ photo spots. Being there early May meant plenty of snow still on the impressive peaks.

I joined a lot of tours with several different companies in Zurich but this was the best. They were so good at communicating, picked and dropped each person from their hotel,even gave us complementary snacks and chocolates. The tour guide Anour was very knowledgeable about the Swiss Alps, showed us hidden gems, was very nice about taking pictures.

I had an absolutely incredible experience on this tour! Even though I was traveling solo and the other participants canceled, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise — I had the entire adventure to myself with the legendary guide, Álvaro.

From start to finish, every moment was unforgettable. Álvaro is a true professional: knowledgeable, patient, passionate, and incredibly friendly. He made sure I didn't miss a single beautiful spot across Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and the breathtaking Swiss Alps region. His explanations were clear, interesting, and full of enthusiasm, and he was always happy to answer any questions along the way.

Not only is Álvaro an amazing guide, but he also has an awesome taste in music, which made the journey between locations even more enjoyable. It felt like traveling with a friend who knows all the hidden gems and stories of the area.

I genuinely enjoyed every second of this experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone — especially if you're lucky enough to have Álvaro as your guide. It was truly one of the highlights of my trip!

Our guide was Alvaro. He was friendly and funny and we enjoyed spending the day with him. He went out of his way to ensure everyone had a great time. He set up a special treat by the lake to enjoy the beautiful day.

This was an all day experience where we went to each scheduled place. On time. Driver was nice. Van comfortable. BUT there was little to no narration/history/learning about Switzerland and these beautiful places. If you’re wanting to learn about the areas you’ll get very little info. Probably not the tour for you.

I would say this is more of a car ride with a private driver than a sightseeing tour. The tour guide, Alvaro, did not share much information about the sights we see; he mostly dropped us at the sites and let people hand around themselves without much information about anything to do or explore, especially at Grindelwald, where there is a lot to do but if it is your first times, you probably would not know where to start. I also do not think the tour worth they price since most of the sites are free admission (or you have to pay yourself if there is any admission fee). The sites are beautiful, but not necessary iconic and you can pretty much can get there if you are familiar with the transportation system in Switzerland. The tour was much shorter than described. The guide was half an hour late to pick us up, but we were back much earlier. The visiting time at most sites were much shorter than the itinerary, esepcially at the Giessbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen, and did not get to see the hotel at Giessbach Falls. The van was also pretty small.

Amazing trip! We enjoyed every second! The views are the best! We were picked up from the hotel and dropped off! Such a great idea!

What an amazing trip being able to have a closer look at the places we’ve seen from above our cable ride. Carlos, our tour guide was very kind and very patient with everyone. The places he brought us to see were just breathtaking and magical. A hundred percent worth visiting!!!

Was rushed, very little time at each place, It was kinda boring overall. Tour guide didn't know very much so it wasn't super informative. Overall kind of a meh experience, not sure I'd recommend it.

Carlos was nice enough, although very quiet, but clearly did not know much about Switzerland and the areas of the Swiss Alps that we toured. For over $1000 usd for 4 people, we felt a more knowledgeable driver should be expected. We also had 3 other passengers in the car and unfortunately were forced to be split up during the entire day of our car ride. Not great planning on Carlos’s part…let’s keep families sitting together so we can share in the experience with each other. Sights were beautiful, but all stops were hurried and just felt like only enough time for a photograph…no exploring the culture. The stop in Grindewald was barely enough time to ride the cable car up, and back…all rushed. Mind you the cost for the cable car ride is extra, around $70 chf, not $60 that we were told….should be included! Anywho, my two cents…buyer beware…maybe look at other options.

This was a fabulous tour to some beautiful cities, lakes and waterfall! Our tour guide, Carlos, was wonderful and one of the better guides I’ve encountered over many countries we’ve visited these past few years! He spoke very well and gave us some insights at the various locations without being intrusive or constantly talking - just the right mix. It was more like a friend showing us their beautiful country. Grindelwald is a nice little town but mostly little touristy shops. I would definitely recommend the doing the gondola instead as the views are fabulous, as is the cliff walk (just a short walk from the gondola- not for anyone horribly fearful of heights!) The First Peak is a must see - don’t get off at the first two stops, just stay on until the very top. There is a buffet and restaurant available. If you want to do the gondola, you do on your own but not sure why some past reviewers in were upset about this. The guides show you exactly where to go to purchase tickets, you purchase tickets, you board the gondola, not hard to do on your own and it’s beautiful up top! After the waterfall walk - a bit of a hike for some, but really not bad at all and SO worth the visit! It’s huge and you can walk behind it - stunning views of the lake. Carlos took us to Lauterbrunnen instead of the very busy and big city of Interlaken which we were all very glad he did - WOW talk about the money shot! He took us down a path to see this beautiful valley. Just stunning! I highly recommend this tour and tour guide!!!
