Meeting Point

You guide will wait at the bottom of the steps that lead up to the Visitor and Information Centre in Chester. It is next to the Town Hall, facing the Cathedral and a statue of three figures entwined. If you can be 5 to 10 minutes early that would be helpful.

  • Infants, children and youths are welcome on the tour but be aware that it is designed with adults in mind, and they might get a little bored or find the walk tiring if they are very young!
  • Important to note - The tour involves around a 5k walk. It is at a relaxed pace, and there are numerous rests and places to sit down along the way. We go up and down some stairs and very slight inclines to reach our foodie destinations.
  • If you are in a wheelchair or have mobility issues please contact us prior to booking a tour so that we can go through any accessibility issues. We will accommodate all of these and answer all queries
