‘Black Cab Heritage Tours’ is at your disposal for all of your London Airport Transfers requirements, to and from your centrally located hotel in the city.

We are fully aware of the traffic that can delay journeys to and from London’s airport terminal so we operate a fixed-price service to avoid costs spinning out of control from Heathrow or Gatwick airports.


  • Gatwick Airport is the second busiest airport in the UK and it’s located 29.5 miles (47.5 km) south of Central London. 

Our Professional Driver Guides have the world-famous ‘Knowledge of London’ and have no need for satellite navigation (very dangerous in a modern city) – and we are allowed to utilise the capital’s bus lanes for extra time efficiency.

We also provide a ‘meet and greet’ facility in all airport terminal pick-ups for our London Airport Transfers, along with the safe handling of your luggage.

We suggest setting off from your hotel or vacation residence around 4 hours before departure – so please complete the reservation with outgoing flight carrier details.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that London black cabs do not feature a separate trunk, so luggage capacity is limited. Each cab can accommodate up to 4 large suitcases, which will travel with you in the passenger cabin. Please keep this in mind when packing to ensure a comfortable ride.

  • Accesibility: All Black Cabs are wheelchair accessible and foldable wheelchairs (under 10kg) can be stored in the vehicle. Please note the person must be able to get into and out of the vehicle without the assistance of the driver or tour guide and a member of the group must be able to lift the wheelchair in and out of the vehicle without the assistance of the driver or tour guide. Additionally, on some occasions, slight amendments to the route may need to be made to make this fully accessible. If your wheelchair is over 10kg or cannot be folded to be easily stored in a vehicle, please be in touch, so we can arrange a custom booking for you.
