What You Will Do

Enjoy a gastronomical experience of London's East End's tantalising streets.

On your walking food tour of the East End, you will:

  • Bite into the bacon sandwich voted one of London’s best;

  • Discover the most incredible street art scene;

  • Try the UK’s number 1 dish- curry, on London’s legendary Brick Lane;

  • Taste the finest fish and chips in the UK;

  • Walk down streets steeped in history; discover Georgian mansions, hidden synagogues and ancient alleyways;

  • Tick off 3 of Time Out Top 100 dishes to try while you are in London.

Do away with the misconception of British food as bland. Welcome to the global foodie capital - as voted by the world's most decorated Michelin star chef (a Frenchman at that!). Embark on a wonderful, fascinating adventure discovering the beauty of the East End's Roman burial grounds and Georgian-style mansions. You'll be sure to indulge in a number of delicious treats. Comb the neighbourhood’s wealth of street markets, cheese shops, bakeries, restaurants and pubs.

Accompany your local guide as you navigate the best of these, sampling a variety of dishes and foods: from Jewish bagels and Indian curries to classic fish & chips. Finish your tour unwinding in a stunning, centuries-old beer house. Digest what you have seen (and eaten), and talk to your friendly guide about London and local culture. Perhaps discuss possible recommendations and tips for the remainder of your trip.

London's East End is a fascinating melting pot of diverse cultures and fascinating history: heavily bruised during the blitz and once the home of Jack The Ripper, London's East End is viewed by many as the creative capital of Europe. Street art coats the buildings, trendy types fill the bars and boutiques line the streets. Fill your stomach and see London from a different perspective!
