What You Will Do
Join pasta-expert Silvana's class to rediscover the lost methods of making fresh artisan pasta dishes and then enjoy your pasta dishes over lunch!
You'll learn all there is to know about pasta and will create some of the most unusual and beautiful pasta shapes, traditional in Italy but virtually unknown in the UK.
Expect to to mix different flours, learn the best ways of kneading, and all the secrets to obtaining the perfect dough. There will also be a cooking demonstration of the sauce that will be served with the pasta, and the best cooking technique for the perfect pasta al dente.
Silvana is a fourth-generation artisan pasta maker from Naples. Her passion is to teach the dying art of making pasta entirely by hand, saving rare pasta shapes from disappearing and helping pasta lovers to recreate the authentic Italian experience, teaching techniques passed down to her by her family.

Eye opening practical experience

Very informative hands on experience. We learnt a lot, not only about making pasta, but about buying pasta in the supermarket. Very eye opening. Also the sauce that we made for the pasta was completely different from anything we’d ever tasted before.

Silvana welcomes you into her home and gives you a wonderful evening from 4pm to 7pm. We learnt so much more than pasta making. The end result, a wonderful evening filled with laughter, sharing and delicious food. Highly recommended.
