Join us for this half day tour of Westminster, taking in famous sites such as Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and more. Your tour is designed to cover the highlights; however, it's always possible to stop and look at something that's caught your interest.
You can enjoy captivating stories about the Royal Family past&present, whilst admiring some of the most recognisable sights in the world. Your private Blue Badge guide is full of facts and stories to engage and entertain you during your tour, making for a terrific experience.

Directions: Your tour guide will meet you at the Westminster Abbey shop, they will be holding a sign with the lead customers name.

Westminster Abbey
15 minutes
The tour starts at your chosen time, your tour guide will meet you at Westminster Abbey shop.
Beginning at Westminster Abbey, the church used for many royal weddings, coronations and burials. Moving around outside the church, gives you some idea of the scale of this magnificent building. Thousands of people are buried here, stretching from medieval monarchs to modern scientists, your guide will be happy to help you guess some of their names.
The famous sites around Westminster are all very close.

Parliament Square
15 minutes
Crossing the road, Parliament Square reveals itself fully, complete with statues of many famous statesmen. Not to be outdone, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben creep into view as we make our way around the square.

Big Ben
5 minutes
But which bit is Big Ben? Who was it named after? Join us to find out.
Strolling away from Parliament Square through hidden alleyways, we can admire the local architecture on our way to the main site, Buckingham palace.

Buckingham Palace
15 minutes
Can you recognise if Her Majesty is home? Buckingham Palace sometimes comes together with the changing of the guards. During certain days and fair weather, we can join the Regiments marching from their Barracks to the Palace. If the guard change is cancelled, don’t panic! This is London, there is always time for traditional pageantry.

Horse Guards Parade at Whitehall

The horse guards are just around the corner, they are inspected every day, rain or shine.

St. James's Palace
5 minutes
Walking down The Mall offers a very regal feel and is also a great spot for spectacular pictures. Maybe one palace isn’t enough? St James’s Palace is waiting close by, offering more stories about the Royal Family. Perhaps you’d like to see where Her Majesty buys her hats from? Browsing through St. James’s Street we can hunt out all the shops with the Royal Warrant.

St. James's Park

If you’ve had enough of the Royals, let’s stop by St James’s Park, a beautiful area of serenity in the middle of the city. This is also a great opportunity to spot some local wildlife, with a huge variety of birds and squirrels calling this park home.

Piccadilly Circus

Finally we head out towards the heart of West End, Piccadilly. Surrounded now by theatres, shops and restaurants, perhaps you can find some inspiration for how to spend the evening?

Trafalgar Square
15 minutes
The tour finishes at Trafalgar Square, right in the city centre of London, leaving you with time to time to contemplate your tour around some of the worlds most iconic sights.
Sometimes the tour runs in a different order to maximise your chances of seeing the guard change, but we will still cover all the places mentioned above.
