What You Will Do

Embark on a truly special and comfortable day trip to the English Countryside and you visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Stonehenge and the Magna Carta inside Salisbury Cathedral.

On this private day trip from London, you will:

  • Enjoy hotel pick-up & drop-off from centrally located hotels in a London Taxi as you are comfortably whisked to the English countryside;
  • Visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge;
  • Uncover the mysteries surrounding Stonehenge— learning about its traditions and myths;
  • Visit the Stonehenge museum, snap photos of the archaeological artefacts and listen to stories of the Neolithic site
  • Explore Salisbury Cathedral, an English Gothic masterpiece, with its towering spire and medieval clock;
  • Walk inside the cathedral to view scriptures from the Magna Carta;
  • Conclude with a drive back to your hotel.

Be picked up from your hotel in a comfortable car and journey to the enigmatic Stonehenge - a mystical collection of 5000-year-old Neolithic stones, located on the rolling plains of Salisbury, Wiltshire. This monumental stone circle is still very much a place of strong spiritual and esoteric significance - a haunting echo from Britain's forgotten past.

It is a mystery as to why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served. Why not wander around the site with your expert guide and see if you can attempt to unlock the secrets of the stones for yourself? There is also an excellent visitors’ centre that will help to shed light on the fascinating people who lived and worshipped at Stonehenge.

Salisbury Cathedral is a short drive away, and what a surprise is in for you as you get to the splendour of this 13th-century English Gothic masterpiece, take in the tallest spire in Great Britain, and view the Magna Carta (which dates back to 1215). See the Magna Carta –one of democracy’s oldest documents.

Marvel at the oldest working, medieval clock in the world and enjoy a relaxing transfer back to Central London after the tour.
