What You Will Do
Manchester Wine Tours are relaxed, friendly and informal wine-tasting events.
Each tour includes four of the best Manchester wine venues (bars, pubs, restaurants and shops).
Guests taste 5-8 different types of wine with small but high-quality snacks.
Your tour guide is a Manchester local, a knowledgeable wine professional who can show you the art of wine tasting in a fun, non-stuffy way.
Along the route, you will also stop at various points of interest such as statues of notable characters in Manchester's history.
Tour groups are small with no more than 12 guests per event, which means they are friendly and intimate and everybody has the chance to ask questions and share their own insights.
This is a great way to see the city and enjoy its incredible food and drink scene. There are opportunities to buy wine to take home along the way, if you wish, but no pressure to do so.

Great tour. Host Jack was brilliant Fun and informative. Taken to 4 great wine venues and very generous samples of 8 different wines and yummy snacks. Great vfm. Couldn't fault it. You can take it very seriously and discuss all aspects of the wine and wine making with the host (and Jack lived to talk wine!) or just down the wine and chat with the host and the group. Taken to some great wine bars and eateries. All in all a great afternoon.
The best way to explore Manchester!

Fabulous tour of some of the best Manchester bars and restaurants, with a variety of great wines to try. Wines were paired with some lovely small plates of food to complement the flavour notes. As if that wasn’t enough, you get some fascinating nuggets of Manchester history. Kel, your tour guide (and food & drink editor), is super friendly, fun and charismatic.
Highly recommend this as a fun thing to do whether you’re with a group of friends or flying solo and want to spend a few hours sampling Manchester’s finest.

Finally got to a tour yesterday after meaning to since Kel launched her business around 18 months ago and it was so much fun.
Everyone was friendly & and chatty, and it was great spending an afternoon with fellow enthusiasts. I do already know a fair bit about wine & the places we visited were places I love who do top quality wines so for me the highlights were to spend time listening to a different wine educator who knows a lot more about wine than me and trying new wines.
It's such a good way to spend an afternoon with like-minded people drinking wine and exploring this wonderful city. I'm sure I'll be back!
