  • Pass by the Buchanan St Tea rooms, another iconic Mackintosh location with exquisite stained glass windows and distinctive furniture that Mackintosh created for the tea rooms;

  • See the Grosvenor Building, designed by Mackintosh in 1899 in his signature use of clean lines and geometric shapes;

  • Pass by Mackintosh's First Flat, located in the heart of Glasgow, this was the first home that Mackintosh designed for himself and his wife, and it's a beautiful example of his early work

  • Visit Mackintosh at the Willow, a recently restored tearoom that Mackintosh designed in 1903;

  • Explore the stunning interiors as you learn about the painstaking restoration that brought this iconic location back to its former glory.


Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a born and raised Glaswegian who spent much of his professional life in Glasgow. 

He attended the Glasgow School of Art and later worked for the architectural firm Honeyman and Keppie, where he designed many of his most famous buildings, and his influence can be found throughout Glasgow in numerous locations.
