The London Dungeon Admission Ticket

Our visit to the London Dungeon on Friday, 25th April 2025, was absolutely fantastic! We were a group of four–two adult sisters and our 14-year-old daughters–and we all had a brilliant time. This attraction definitely earns a well-deserved five stars from us.

We turned up on the day and booked our tickets at the door, which was easy and convenient. There was no wait, and we went straight in, which was a great bonus. The entire experience lasted about 90 minutes, which felt like the perfect amount of time to soak it all in without feeling rushed or worn out.

The tour itself was well organised. You move through in groups of around 30 people, visiting various themed rooms, each portraying a chilling chapter of London’s history. From the Plague Era to tales of Jack the Ripper and the famous barber Sweeney Todd, each stop had a unique story to tell. Adding to the immersion, every room featured an actor or actress playing a role tied to the theme, bringing the past to life.

For us, the highlight was undoubtedly the incredible performances by the actors. They were outstanding and truly committed to their roles, which made the experience so much more engaging. We particularly loved the actresses who played the doctor performing a post-mortem on a plague victim, the woman demonstrating torture devices, and the baker lady- so so funny and engaging.

It's worth noting that this experience might not be for everyone. If you're claustrophobic or uncomfortable in dark spaces, this might not be your cup of tea. Most of the experience takes place in dimly lit settings to boost the atmosphere, which we thought was fantastic but might be intimidating for others.

Although the drop ride was out of order during our visit, it didn’t dampen our enjoyment at all.

We highly recommend the London Dungeon for families (with older kids) and groups looking for fun, frights, and a unique glimpse into London’s shadowy past. It’s perfect for visitors who love a mix of history, humor, and a touch of the macabre!

We like a dungeon and as it was my partner's birthday and we were in London we came along to the London one. I'd been years ago before it moved (and I'm sorry but I thought it was better then!). That said we still had a great time, having been to other dungeon attractions we found the plague bit and the judge part a bit of a bore as these are at all the dungeons, I was disappointed not to have anything about the great fire and there were no rides here. Overall it was a good way to pass a couple of hours and we enjoyed a drink in the bar at the end. Worth doing but if you get a chance the York dungeon is better!!

This tour was SO FUN! Took my family of 5 including three boys 9,12 and 14 and we all loved it. The actors are so into it and great and no one ever breaks character. They pump in smells and different temperatures and use darkness and light to set the scene. Some parts are legit scary. I screamed out loud twice to the embarrassment of my kids. There are sections that can be uncomfortable for some… the very first scene they huddle all the visitors into a tight dark and hot elevator so if you are scared of confined spaces you’ll need to power through this one section but it’s worth it. And none of knew this but the last scene is a real drop zone ride but they allow you bail out if this is too scary for you. Highly recommend though. The whole tour was a blast.

The walk through was great, actors a bit quick but fun and enjoyable with the smells and effects. My son has been so looking forward to this especially the ride at the end, however this didn't happen, no explanation before, during or after. Hence the rating, it would've been great if the staff had said the ride wasn't operational at some point so expectations could have been managed, as it was, it was an abrupt end, shuffled into the gift shop and bar, with a rather disappointed 11 year old. We likely won't return, bit of a let down that no one communicated this on or before arrival.

Made to queue up in pitch black for at least 30 minutes and forced to take photos you don’t want.
The experience itself is you basically being ushered from room to room, interacting with different sets/actors depicting a few snippets of London history, ranging from the black death, Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd etc. some elements were funny, the drop ride at the end is disappointing and the experience was much better at the original destination at Tooley Street. Personally I’d save your money and go somewhere more interesting like the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge Walk or even The Clink at Borough Market

I cannot stress how brilliant this visit was the actors were absolutely fantastic at every stage along with every storey with 100 percent effort , after they have to repeat this day in , day out ! You’re fantastic all of you !! made the experience something I will never forget I’ve not stopped talking about it , worth the money in my eyes wasn’t a 5 minute wander in and out done in half hour !

It is a tourist attraction on the Southbank, so of course it will be busy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The actors were great and did a fantastic job. Decent value for what it is.

We went as group of 4 . My 13 yr old daughter and friend and his mother . All had a really good experience. It was fun , entertaining and memorable. What more could you ask for on Easter holiday trip . We laughed , jumped and screamed . Actors were excellent and we all throughly enjoyed and would recommend

Loved all the interaction with the actors, the journey through time was just amazing. My eight & ten year old grandsons were petrified at first, then immersed in every storyline & special effect. Awesome day out, though disappointed they weren’t tall enough for the grand finale ride.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to experience London's dark history, complete with jumpscares, cheesy acting, and way too many spooky sound effects, then *The London Dungeon* is the place for you!

The moment you step in, you're greeted by the kind of “welcome” usually reserved for haunted houses — dim lighting, creepy noises, and the sweet, unsettling scent of… well, probably old stone and regret. The actors really commit, almost as if their performance review depends on whether they can make you scream louder than the person next to you.

The first attraction is a *very* enthusiastic “executioner” who explains how you could have ended up on the wrong side of a chopping block back in the day. Honestly, if you ever find yourself in medieval London, just remember: don’t borrow money from strangers or offend a nobleman. That seems to be the main takeaway here.

But it gets even better—enter the "Jack the Ripper" experience, where you’re forced to walk through an alley, fully aware that if a Victorian murderer is lurking, it’s probably *your* fault for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The whole thing is equal parts terrifying and hilarious. I spent half the time screaming, and the other half wondering if the Ripper might be a little more considerate with his knife work.

Would I go again? Yes, but only if I’m in the mood to be scared senseless by things I know are coming and then get yelled at by more people dressed as historical figures. Definitely a must-see for fans of history, horror, and... awkwardly trying to hold in your scream without looking like a scaredy-cat.

One of the most captivating and enjoyable adventures in London! I’ve visited this city numerous times throughout the years, and it never loses its charm.

The actors are very good, especially the surgeon and the judge. However, too many people go through each section at a time which makes it difficult to see. And if you are hoping for a scary experience you will be disappointed. My 74 year old sister and I didn’t scream once!

Easy to access, great staff, great actors, fun filled, funny and at times thrilling. The rinse at the end is a great treat.

We loved our tour. The actors were amazing. And the whole experience takes you back. Would highly re doing this whilst visiting London.

Totally Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We purchased an all day ticket for our day of arrival in London, unfortunately we realised it shuts at 4pm some days and we realised this at 3pm so rang up in a panic that we would loose out. The girl on the phone couldn't be more helpful, she changed our family ticket to the next day without a problem. The dungeon itself was soooo good! Us adults and our teenage sons age 16 and 13 loved it! Brilliant acting by the staff, interactive and scary but funny at the same time. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend 👌

Well worth a visit,very enjoyable 90 minutes. Lots of scares and great interactions with characters.

I had an amazing time at the London Dungeon. The actors were so real and engaging and the experience was immersive. The staff were super friendly and I really enjoyed the drop. It was great that I was able to take away photos which I will cherish
