What You Will Do

Glasgow is an incredible city with a unique heart. It is famous for shipbuilding, for football and for being the Second City of the Empire, but the thing that really makes Glasgow special is her people. Your tour is led by a Glasgwegian and will give you a distinctly Glasgwegian impression of the city. Anyone can learn from a history book, but your tour guide comes armed with the stories from their aunts, grandmothers and great grandfathers and will take you beyond the guide book and deep into their world. This amazing city, in which they were born, bred and brought up, is their passion and they see it in a way that is totally personal and entirely unique. On your tour, you have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Glasgow's history, hearing about not only the famous names and faces, but also the lesser known stories of the ordinary people who made this city great and make its history special.
