Fresh eyes on the Land of Sun and Sea

Great tour of the overall island blending the historical and cultural themes of the people. You can tell that Ras Dre is a student of the country and the people and does an excellent job of making the tour personal to each visitor so you can walk away knowing that Antigua is a jewel among jewels. Did I mention the tour is also locally owned which is another plus so do yourself a favor and Book it!!!
See the island through fresh eyes

Great tour of the overall island blending the historical and cultural themes of the people which are sometimes the same but many times have different paths. You can tell that Ras is a student of the country and the inhabitants and does a great job in making the tour personal to each visitor so you can walk away saying that Antigua is a jewel among jewels. Locally owned so if this is your first time on the island, a frequent visitor, or a resident, I'm sure there's something new and cool you'll learn on the tour that's given by a true resident of the land. Book it!
Andre’s Rastafarian Antigua island tour a blessed experience!
2024-03-25
Our tour guide Andre’ is an exceptional human! He provided us an all-day tour of the scenic highlights of Antigua from a local Rastafarian’s perspective and historical knowledge. Not only did we learn about the locations, we learned the history and purpose and meaning of how and why Antigua is such a blessed place! Mid-day we stopped at a restaurant recommended by Andre’ at Nelson’s Dockyard to have lunch, not included in the price of the tour, but a lovely stop and wonderful addition to the day. Of special note was Andre’s knowledge of the island’s flora, the flowers and fruits and the medicinal and healing uses of many. The two of us came away with a rich knowledge of and appreciation for Rastafarian history and culture and its meaning in Antigua’s colonial history. We highly highly highly recommend a private tour with Andre’. We were expecting a van tour with 13 other people but were blessed to have Andre’ to ourselves!
