101 Oliver Rum Tasting and Pairing And Taino Concept Store

Our instructor did an amazing job and the customer service they provided was absolutely amazing. The samples and pairings were great and we definitely enjoying learning about the history.

Felix was awesome, knowledgeable and very friendly. We knows all about rum and cigars. The gift shop was excellent and extensive. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this excursion when in Punta Cana. Felix is the man!!

My 1st rum tasting experience and what can I say it was excellent , Anthony who took care of the morning was brilliant !

Oliver Rum Lab Tour by Taino Gourmet - We booked this tour to get more of a local experience and was a little skeptic given the reviews already given but the cost swayed it. I felt the previous review was a little harsh when it referred to the experience was in a back room and not a distillery which was to a degree true however it was nicely set up. We were the only ones in time slot booked and our guide Anthony was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We had the rum tasting package and had 4 doubles of pricey rum and some nibbles to show how certain foods change the flavor. The only negative was the experience was estimated as 2-4 hours but it only took an hour and as we were through Tui and transport was arranged we did not have anytime really to look around the shop. I would go again but would to have the estimated time of experience and not just an hour.

Really recommend this excursion, we werent really rum drinkers prior to this but we just thought it would be a fun experience and we have come away from it with a taste for rum! We ended up being the only two in the group as the rest were late so we had the host all to ourselves and he was great! couldnt fault it

This was a fun and informative tour. Anthony was full of knowledge and clearly enjoys his job and his country. We were mother-daughter and shared our tour with couples from UK and Canada. We all enjoyed talking to and interacting with Anthony and each other.

Really nice experience to know more about ron and the history of Oliver family.
Antony, our guide, had such a carismatic presentacion in 3 different languages! I really recomend to everyone going to punta cana.
Plus, the gift shop have nice prices for souvenirs.

Absolutely book this! Anthony was amazing, we learned a lot, had some very good rum and he made us laugh a long the way. The tour is in the back of a very good gift shop, which was useful after and we also paid for a cigar tasting, the smoking lounge was brilliant too!

Our tour guide Anthony was a blast! Very fun and very knowledgeable about the rum! It felt like we all went from strangers to family in a matter of minutes! I would definitely recommend this tour!

We loved this experience! Anthony did a phenomenal job and made the entire experience so much fun. We learned laughed and just had an all around good time. The setting is nice and you can also do a little shopping as well. I highly recommend it. We’d do it all over again just for the experience.
