Ocean Safari in San Jose del Cabo

Cabo is a warm and friendly town filled with reasonably priced hotels, restaurants and activities. We stayed at a beautiful hotel, casa Bella, within walking distance of the marina in Cabo San Lucas.

Crew was delightful, they provided wet suit surprisingly fit , & im, 6.5 258. It is in the ocean, we saw dolphins small reef fish, a parrot & needle fish & im 67 & they helped me going up the ladder as ive always had weak feet. Hah hah!

We went whale watching and snorkeling with the DIP boat and had a fantastic time on both outings. All the equipment was top notch and all the crew were warm, smart and easygoing. We saw many whales includes a two week old calf and had a terrific snorkeling experience. I will recommend them to anyone!

Matt and Betty were prompt and efficient in getting our trip underway, giving good explanations and advice about snorkeling in the open ocean. The panga boat seemed new and was comfortable although not much of a covered area. Lunch was simple but tasty burritos. This trip is designed for an ocean adventure, not a lot of amenities.
Seeing the Cabo area from the water was a completely different perspective. The mountains are stunning! Never knew there was a sea mount offshore where hammerhead sharks congregated.
Although it took a while to locate them, we saw balls of bait fish, turtles, marlin, devil rays and humpbacks. We got into the water to snorkel with a very chill pod of dolphins. They were curious about us and liked to ride the bow wake.
If you're ok with small boats this trip is a winner!

Cancel all your other boat tours and book them all with Dip Expeditions! The smaller group makes all the difference and this tour is much more wildlife focused- we set out for a snorkeling destination, but spotted rays jumping out of the water and followed them for a while, then we spotted whales and stopped to watch as they swam right by our boat! Truly a once in a lifetime experience! Then, we did snorkel and were the only boat in a cove with beautiful reefs. I will be booking again next time I’m in Cabo!

I had an unforgettable experience with DIP, everything was way beyond my expectactions, from the boat, the staff, the experience, everything was perfect. We saw a lot of animals and the DIP staff was very welcoming and we learned a lot on what they told us about the animals and the place.

This company would definitely be my to go for safaris and other experiences and I can´t wait to go back and do it again.

This tour was probably one of the highlights of my Cabo experience.

A very authentic and honest team took is to find all sorts of marine life while providing interesting facts and information that made it even more remarkable.

We felt safe, pampered and taken care of before, during and even after the experience.

Its was so magical what we got to experience out at the sea! The tour was amazing since the beginning, very comfortable on the boat and the guides were super nice and informative with us! Then we got to see whales in a way I had never experienced before, it was beautiful! We also saw some sharks and marlins around! If you have the opportunity dont miss it!

Our marine safari was absolutely incredible! We had the chance to see mobulas, whales, and manta rays up close—such a thrilling experience. The boat was modern and super comfortable, making the whole trip even better. Loved this excursion. Great company and great day. I appreciate a business that doesn’t cater to the masses and puts a premium on your overall experience. That was DIP Expeditions. They have a new boat that’s perfect for like 8 people and they don’t over fill it. We headed out promptly at 8a and went about 8 miles offshore. The Ocean Safari is really open for whatever the day brings, but they have a known shark area already in GPS. When we arrived you could see a dozen Silky Sharks below the surface. The owner was our guide and he felt very safe and cautious. While animals are never 100% predictable, we felt more comfortable the longer we swam. Following the sharks, we saw multiple whales, sea turtles and then went snorkeling.

I would highly recommend this company for those who are looking for something more personalized than a packed, booze cruise, snorkel trip. Pay a couple more bucks. Drive a litter further. Well worth it and already trying to recruit more people for our next expedition!!

I have done similar tours with other companies and this has been the best by far. The boat itself is already a whole other level… it’s brand new and super comfortable. Usually this boats don’t even have somewhere to sit but this one has a very nice cushioned area at the front to chill in-between dives. Which is very much appreciated since long days at the sea can be exhausting. The crew has the best attitude and they were super respectful with the wildlife which is also very important since other boats don’t have the knowledge and get too close to some animals and hurt them. I will for sure book again with them.

The views, all the animals and the connection with nature, made this a life changing experience. If you’re in Cabo, you can't miss this. For me it was an amazing day and the crew members made it so much fun and interesting. Can’t wait to book another of the experiences that dip offers.

It was the most breathtaking experience I've had! We saw sharks, whales, sea lions, and Marlins. The boat is very clean and comfortable, and Matias, our tour guide, was exceptionally good. He gave us all the instructions and made us feel safe in the water. I can't wait to come back!

DIP boat is the best in the San José Marina, I’ve been on many! And that’s the least to say, they are such an amazing crew, Matias has so much knowledge and is incredibly friendly and makes you feel safe and adventurous at the same time. I am a now forever DIP client for all my ocean adventures.
