Chapultepec Castle & Anthropology Museum Tour

Amazing! Gerson was a fantastic tour guide. So much information, enthusiasm and energy. Also his jokes were great. I would highly recommend this tour.

They are not trustworthy. I scheduled a tour with them, but due to a personal emergency, we were unable to attend. I contacted them and explained the situation, agreeing that I could reschedule for a surcharge of 21 USD per person, which we accepted (they never indicated that there was a deadline to reschedule the tour). I tried to schedule again days later, and they told me that the deadline had passed. To which I explained that in previous communications, they had never indicated that there was a deadline. After several messages, they agreed to let me reschedule again (paying the surcharge of 21 USD per person), which I accepted. 6 days later, I am trying to pay the last amount we had agreed to, and they are not honoring it. They indicate that if I want to take the tour, I must pay everything again, disregarding their previous communications. Terrible. Do not book with them; they are not trustworthy.

Amazing experience. What made it even better was Gerson, our guide. He is absolutely a gem. So wise and full of knowledge. I learned so much from him. Truly and unforgettable experience.

It was a wonderful experience exploring the anthropology museum and the castle. Our tour guide Antonio was amazing. Very knowledgeable and explained everything so well and details. Overall amazing experience!

The Museum of Anthropology and Chapultepec tour was incredible. Our guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate—he really gave it his all. At times, it was a bit hard to keep up, especially in the museum, with so much information and a strong accent. But when the group got smaller at Chapultepec, the tour became more relaxed and interactive, which we really enjoyed. Alex has great potential to become an amazing guide—like a human version of Alexa, full of knowledge, but with deep passion.

This was a fantastic tour for our first day in CDMX! Alicia was our tour guide and she was informative, accessible, funny and had a great attitude. When we went to the Aztec room, she gave us time to explore ourselves, then went on to share stories about well over a dozen artifacts - much more in depth than I expected and have experienced in other museum tours. I would say that Alicia's tour was better than any I've attended in Egypt or Italy! The information about Mexico and the city's history was the perfect grounding for the rest of our trip and we learned more about Teotihuacan here than at the pyramids themselves! This is a must-do!

Our guide, Antonio, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, possessed a great sense of humor and was very kind. He made a very long tour (over 5 hours) enjoyable and very insightful. He was on time at our meeting place and kept us engaged.

Geovanna was a perfect private tour guide for us to experience the Anthropology Museum and the Chapultepec Castle today. She was engaging in her presentation and so knowledgeable for all our questions! She double checked at multiple intervals on how we wanted to spend the time, which was very much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with her and would highly recommend her!

amigo tours didn't send their best guide, who I will not name. I suggest people spend a bit more money with another agency to actually get somebody you can hear. However, the museum and castle were still fun to see and it was nice having a guide for the castle.

I also booked another tour with amigo tours, this one also in CDMX, which they canceled. They messaged me the cancelation message on whatsapp, which I didn't see because I don't often use whatsapp.

Our tour guide Fernanda was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour interactive. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because she was given the wrong tickets to get into the castle so we had to wait a while until she obtained new tickets. She handled the situation very well though.

Our tour guide Alicia was great! She was full of knowledge and made our experience worth it! I truly recommend this tour. Remember to wear your most comfortable walking shoes.

I was a little disappointed overall—the tour felt rushed, and we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy or take in the experience. I was hoping for a more relaxed pace to really appreciate the places we visited.

Roberto was a great and very knowledgeable guide who covered a lot of detail on all of the Antiquities in the museum. We had a really nice tour through the castle as well and I would recommend this trip for anyone looking for a detailed explanation of the history at these places.

Our tour guide Lily was very informed and knowledgeable. She was patient with questions and got us where we needed to be, while on time, and while maximizing the museum. Both the castle and the tour you could probably spend a half a day at each. This tour did have a lot of walking involved to get to the castle as well, so bring comfortable shoes because it is slightly uphill.

We went to the museum and then the castle- fantastic experience. Alex was our tour guide and very knowledgeable and did a great job walking us through the museum pointing out interesting items providing the history and stories behind the artifacts. The castle is a little hike up a hill but well worth it. The murals are beautiful, the stained glass is breathtaking and Alex did a great job walking us through the history.
