What You Will Do

This two hour tour takes you to colonia Roma, a destination worth exploring thanks not only to the Oscar movie but also to creative, entrepreneurial minds which gave rise to Roma unique character. We will walk down through the neighborhood's booming urban places, visit the oldest part of the neighborhood - La Romita, a town-within-the-city that during the colonial era was an indigenous settlement complete with a 16th century church. We will stop to see the murals and hear the stories behind them. For a small break we will visit gourmet Roma Market for a beverage and to discuss the art movements and their impact to the city. As the benefit of walking around La Roma we will talk about the landmarks of the best local design and fashion studios, urban restaurants, bars and nightlife spots so you can enjoy your staying in the city. This tour is perfect to help those unfamiliar with Mexico City to settle into the experience.
