Beautiful day and a very comfortable tour through the tequila region. Hector was especially accommodating and knowledgeable. We got the whole van even though there were just 4 of us. Next time well invite a couple more.

I highly recommend the Tequila excursion with Ronnie. One of the things I liked most was that we happened upon people, from our tour guide Ronnie, who has had experience working with agave (the fruit from which tequila is made) since he was a child, to the friendly people who were with us in the bus (all ages and from all countries). I loved that he spoke both English and Spanish perfectly. Ronnie took us to two tequila factories, one of which belonged to José Cuervo, and we had the opportunity to see all phases of the production process, as well as sample over 6 different agave products (4 types of tequila and 2 types of liqueurs). We also tried the typical cocktail of this region - the cantarito, and we had time to eat in a pub, from which you could see all the greenery of the town, and to walk around the village of Tequila, where again for quite reasonable prices we bought cantarito and artesian ice cream. Perhaps one of the best parts of the excursion was the warmth and friendliness of the people. For all heavy drinkers out there, this one is definitely not to be missed and will make you appreciate tequila in a whole new way
