Great tour!

Our experience with Alfredo was fantastic. We booked two tours. Pátzcuaro and Janitzio ( 8hr tour) and a two-hour walking tour in historic Morelia. Alfredo was very attentive, and he adapted to our rythm. As well, he is quite knowledgeable and communicates well. We learned so much about history and culture, as well as little known facts of the entire region, and we had the opportunity to go inside some places that we would have never been able to find by ourselves. I highly recommend Alfredo Tour Guide.

Excellent walking tour of centro histórico en Morelia. Alfredo is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the history of many of the major old, very old buildings in Morelia and how they have been repurposed today for education, music, and as a library.

Alfredo helped to educate us about the many beautiful murals of Morelia and the significance of the major historical figures. One of the most significant leaders, which Morelia is named after, was Jose Maria Morelos. We walked through many historical buildings with beautiful architecture as well as the main cathedral.
He was timely, friendly, and spoke great English. He also gave wonderful recommendations for dining.
We had a scheduled tour for Patzcuaro and Janitzio Island; however, Alfredo had to cancel due to personal reasons. Alfredo had one of his colleagues, Raymundo fill in. Raymundo was also knowledgeable and very pleasant. He showed us around Patzcuaro with its beautiful architecture and amazing history. Janitzio Island is also a must see with the statue of Morelos and murals depicting his life. The boat ride to and from is a pleasant ride. Once there prepare to do a climb to the statue. There are many local crafts being sold there as well as Patzcuaro and Morelia. Highly recommend these tours.
