What You Will Do
Indulge in the delicious flavors and rich cultural heritage of Oaxaca through our unique tasting experience. I'll take you on a journey through the region's most iconic dishes and traditional mezcal.
I have carefully selected a tasting menu that showcases the best of Oaxacan cuisine. You'll start with a mouthwatering appetizer, such as chapulines, crispy roasted grasshoppers seasoned with salt and lime, or quesillo, a fresh Oaxacan cheese.
Next, we will try a selection of signature dishes, each one bursting with flavor and made with time-honored recipes. Sample our famous mole negro, a complex sauce made with a blend of chiles, spices, and chocolate, and our tlayudas, crispy tortillas filled with beans, cheese, and meat.
As you savor the flavors of our dishes, we'll also introduce you to the world of mezcal, a traditional distilled liquor made from agave and learn about the history and production process of mezcal, and discover why it's such an important part of Oaxacan culture.
