Full Day Tour to the Best of Holbox

Besides Mexico's famous "surcharges" , this excursion was a "bait n switch". Was told by tour guide that we'd get a lunch on Holbox Island. Lunch made by local business. Then partway through the tour we're told a big story that the Holbox was "too busy" , and they had to have food brought locally. Then we were fed a box lunch on the Dinghyboat , with 1 beer. Tour price plus the fees attached, not worth it. Buyer beware.

The crystal clear water was stunning. The guide we had was excellent. A great family day out whether it be with big kids or little ones.

Islands are beautiful. Food and drinks were great. I love boats and was excited to go between islands on rides. Lagoon with its fresh water was simply the cherry on the top of the cake.
The most annoying part was that I booked an English tour. 95% of the time the guide spoke in Spanish only. His microphone wasn’t working and me and my son sat in the back and couldn’t hear a thing. We constantly struggled to understand what what we need to do and when to leave, when to be back, limited information in English about the islands. It was very stressful.
And the at the end while napping our driver breaked during the drive so hard that I fell from my seat and had a bloody scratch on my tummy. We didn’t see much wild life an no flamingos. Didn’t had my expectations high and wasn’t disappointed.

Toured with my adult children. We had a great time! Jose was our tour guide and we were very few English speaking but he translated all. The bus ride was great. USB chargers that worked on the bus plus bathroom. Everything was timely and explained. The first two stops were beautiful sand bars, then a beach club stop with a tour and free time and lastly a fresh water lagoon which was perfect way to end the day. Lunch on the boat was very good! Drinks included as well. Water on bus would be a plus. Bring your own water and snacks as none provided. Left at 8am return 8pm. Great way to spend the day and really worth the money!!

We did see a crocodile though so that was a bonus. The rest of the day was amazing. Blue waters, great boat rides. On Holbox we hired a buggy which was an experience and great fun.

This was our favorite tour from our trip! The pickup was timely. The bus was in great condition, great AC and looked very new. They gave us a snack on the way there and on the way back. It's about a 2 hour drive from Cancun. The stops were INCREDIBLE. The photos were beautiful, and the water was PERFECT. The timing for each location was also super appropriate, it never felt rushed but it also didnt feel excessive. The lunch was incredible & the ceviche was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

This was a great excursion. Our tour guide explained everything well I forgot his name. The islands and the denote were so beautiful. Although if there is one thing they could change is the food. There’s not much food to eat for a whole day of excursion although it’s worth doing.

This trip was so worth it! The bus picked us up on time, the guide JOSE was amazing! We stopped at some of the most incredible places which look like something you only see on TV! And the lunch was really nice! I would definitely recomended!

Rodolfo the guide was very nice, professional and responsible.

We had a storm just before the last activity and Rodolfo took care of us to make sure we stayed safe and we all returned to the port without problem. The company made a 5$ refund per person for not completing the activity.

Transportation from the hotel was sharp on time. He made only 2 more stops to pick up travelers to not delay the trip.

Food was good, the tostadas with ceviche delicious.

Quite a long day to go from the Riviera Maya, but well worth it! It was around 3-3.5 hours of travel.

A driver took us halfway and then we swapped minibuses to join the main tour guide. The tour was only 3 couples so it was quite small and intimate.

All parts of the tour were well organized, well timed, and well executed. Lunch was fabulous. The little island we were in was quiet and quaint. The locations were great and made for some fabulous photos.
