Meeting Point
We meet at Plaza del Quinto Centenario by the Totem Pole (upper part of Plaza). The Museum of the Americas is located in Ballajá and is a good reference point. GPS Coordinates: **18.468115, -66.119178** Look for the blue umbrella!
Old San Juan
On our Old San Juan Walk and Taste Tour, you’ll take a foodie adventure through the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan. You’ll learn about the history and culture of our colorful city precisely by tasting along the way. Immerse yourself in this 16th century colonial city as you step into a local coffee shop, sip a rum cocktail, taste the island’s cuisine, and learn about its history and people. There will be five food and drink stops, but in between each stop you will visit a centuries-old convent, take in breathtaking views of the fortifications, and discuss the local architecture with your guide. Have questions? Ask away! This small-group tour was specifically designed with a limited the number of guests so that you can interact with the guides. All guides are locals who speak both English and Spanish fluently and like you, we are all avid travelers with a passion for food and adventure. Your guide will also give you great recommendations for what you must see and what you can't miss while you are here. Eat like a local as you visit exceptional establishments that exalt local flavors. Do you have mobility issues? Are you gluten intolerant? Do you have a picky eater in your group? A toddler? Where possible, substitutions will be made to ensure your comfort along the tour. There is truly something for everyone on this tours: activity, food, history, friendship, and fun. Culinary traditions are living history. Take the Old San Juan Walk and Taste Tour and use your senses to bring history alive! This three-hour tour starts at 9:30AM Monday through Saturday and 10AM on Sundays, giving you plenty of time to explore on your own after or take an afternoon dip in the ocean.

- Children under 3 can join for free but meals will not be provided
- Minimum drinking age in Puerto Rico is 18

- Puerto Rico is hot so wear light clothing and bring water to stay hydrated, although we do provide water at all our stops.
- Tour runs rain or shine!
- Please plan accordingly (allow extra time for traffic and parking, especially on weekends) and arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. Tour starts promptly. We allow an additional 5 minute grace period after the allotted start time - following that, once the guide has left the meeting location, guests may no longer join the tour. Please note we are on Atlantic Standard Time (AST) and Puerto Rico does not observe Daylight Savings.
- Food Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, and/or, Dietary Preferences: Tasting menus developed with our partners are pre-fixed and thus, all changes must be provided well in advance. Please ensure to advise of any allergies, dietary restrictions, and, or, dietary preferences at least 48hours in advance of your experience. We are only able to make substitutions with prior notice. Please note vegan and gluten-free tastings are not available at all stops.
- Not recommeneded for travelers with severe mobility issues since this is a walking tour in a colonial city (cobblestones and some uneven sidewalks)
