What You Will Do
Take a drive through the lively shopping streets of Port of Spain. See the Queen’s Park Savannah and the magnificent, seven, colonial style buildings and visit the National Museum (according to availability). Visit Fort George for spectacular panoramic views of Port of Spain. Next, take the North Coast road to the famous Maracas Beach. Make a stop at the lookout point, take some photos of the surrounding bays and even try some local snacks such as pineapple chutney. This tour was good. I thought it would make more stops. A lot of things we just saw in the car but the tour guide was lovely and we enjoyed it.

Denton was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and was eager to share that information with us. After our visit to Fort George, it began to rain. However, Denton’s sense of humor, and easy-going manner still made the day enjoyable.
