Visit Alaska's oldest known inhabitance area. Once a hunting area for whales, today this amazing rocky point gives various vantage points to view the scenic mountain and ocean views. This activity involves walking or hiking and does require proper footwear and gear for wind and rain.

View a beautiful coastal water way that extends the Cook Inlet eastward. Surrounded by the Chugach Mountain Range the Turnagain Arm features wildlife, seasonal beluga whales, and stunning beauty.

Potter Marsh Bird Sanctuary
30 minutes
Experience the excitement of the activity at the southern end of the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge. Potter Marsh is a hub for birders and other wildlife viewers. Moose, geese, swans, & arctic terns at the surface while salmon swim its marsh waters.
