Plan 20-30 min upon arrival at Universal parking to get to the VIP Lounge. The VIP experience will pay for itself in priority access to activities. The buffet lunch was outstanding.

Our guide was Donald. What a fantastic experience!!! The movie studio tour, the park, the lunch, absolutely incredible! Donald was superb!!! Cannot say enough wonderful things- the park was crowded, we moved quickly from attraction to attraction. We were given insight and warnings for the rides (we were able to do them all). Donald kept us informed and entertained. So good with the children and soooooo patient!! An amazing day- in every aspect.

Made our way to the VIP entrance, where we were ushered into the VIP lounge. This warm and inviting space offered a continental breakfast: meat and cheese croissants, fruit, yogurt , coffee, etc.
Our guide, Silas, came around and introduced himself to each of us personally, which was such a nice gesture.
The tour of the studio and sound stages was so cool. Walking around the outdoor movie sets was also incredible. Silas provided loads of info as well as humor.
Lunch was at the VIP restaurant, which featured all sorts of options and outdoor seating, weather permitting.
After lunch, we headed out to hit the main attractions, and when we arrived, we went directly to the front of each line.
Each tour lasts ~ 6 hours, but when our tour was ready to come to an end, Silas offered to stay with us longer to ensure we got to experince all of the VIP privileges, thus he worked an extra 2 hours!!
We highly highly recommend the VIP tour and especially recommend Silas. You will not be disappointed.
