This was a fabulous tour and the highpoint to our Girl's Weekend! Gavin was so personable and made the tour fun and interesting. We loved the fact that it was scenic, with a bit of history, a bit of "movie stars", a bit of wine and a bit of shopping...something for everyone. All locations provided plenty of time without being too rushed or too long. Keep in mind layers in Malibu is smart...the open windows to part of the van make the tour but my suggestion is to bring a hat and/or sweatshirt. We had a blast...thank you!!! We did a mid-week booking and were pleased to find that we were the only three taking the tour that day. Some tour companies would have cancelled due to lack of a "minimum". Not this one.

Our group consisted of mom, dad and daughter. Daughter lives in LA, mom and dad coming in from the east coast. We took this tour to get a flavor for the Malibu area, not to become experts in grape growing or wine production. The tour does exactly what they advertise - give you an inside look at some areas even locals may not know about. Even our daughter was able to learn new details about a place she has visited many times (like how to access some pretty awesome 'private' beaches).

Our guide, Gavin, was the consummate host/tour guide. He is knowledgeable and encourages questions as you go from stop to stop. No, you will not experience gourmet food, or fine wines but you will get some interesting tidbits of what it is like to live in Malibu. If you want fine wine, take the $500 tours . . .

Gavin was a great tour guide, he knew lots of great spots and had lots of tips !! It was so nice not having to try to find all the good spots as a non local! Highly recommend trying the world famous lobster roll

We had a great time and enjoyed our tour of Malibu! We packed our own bag with snacks and alcoholic beverages although our driver had plenty of alcohol to share!

A beautiful and fun tour of Malibu. Gavin was a knowledgeable and attentive tour guide. He took us to hidden gems that my family and I will definitely be returning to. I highly recommend his tour.

This was a wonderful tour. The tour guide provided fun facts and history during the ride, and then provided time to explore the areas on our own. Amazing beaches and wildlife preserves. As someone who loves near LA but had never been to Malibu, it was a great introduction to the area.

This tour was great. I felt very safe on this relaxing excursion. Gavin gave us some history beginning with the original indigenous Chumash people. We learned some geography and history, and of course there were celebrity points of interest. The beaches selected for the tour were absolutely beautiful. There were opportunities to shop and eat. Snacks, wine and water were provided. It was a well-spent afternoon.

This tour was absolutely amazing!! We decided on choosing to do a tour while in Malibu as we were so indecisive where to check out. I am so greatful to have found this tour on Tripadvisor as it truly was a great experience and worth every penny! Gavin was very accommodating and very informative. We were offered food, water and wine!!! I reccomend this tour for you to add to your list!! This tour gave me great tips on where to check out when I come back to Malibu!

Wow! This was so much fun! Gavin was amazing, knowledgeable, and showed a lot of patience with our really "excited" group. The tour is the best "bang" for it's buck and the free wine is an added bonus! The weather was perfect and the stop at Point Dume Nature Preserve was breathtaking. We had a blast cruisin' around Malibu, and making pit stops along the way at iconic places. I would HIGHLY recommend taking this tour. Even though we are native to the area, we learned so much from him! Thank you Gavin for the incredible day, the wine, the water, and the really good time! This definitely checked off all our boxes! We cannot wait to take another tour!!!!!!

Omg best experience ever, cousins came from Texas we had a great day the host was amazing so kind helpful and he was not stingy with the wine at all he recommended the best places will go again !!!also met two new friends the whole ride was an amazing experience a must try event .

The tour wasn’t what we expected. There was no “wow factor” we were just dropped off and left at places with little knowledge about what to do so we ended up waiting for our next ride. The wine was cheap and served in paper cups the side of the road instead of going inside the winery itself. On the other hand, the tour guide was nice and was really trying hard to leave an impression. But I would honestly not recommend anyone about it. They just need to make the experience much more exciting

Good Time, Misleading Name

I don't want to discourage anyone from taking this tour as it met our needs. However, Barefoot Pinot in a paper cup and an assortment of multipack chips, while appreciated, do not equate to a wine and food tour. To call it such is misleading. This is basically a van service to various Malibu beaches and a few other points of interest with a little background info on the area during the drive. I would have still been interested if this tour was advertised for what it actually is because it allowed me to park one time and explore various locations without having to hunt for parking then pay to park at each individual stop. (Yes, please!) I would keep the fun music, the wine, and the snacks, but I would change the name of the tour. Rooting for your business, Gavin!

Name is MISLEADING. If this is you first “food and wine” tour, please know that this is not what you call a “food and wine” tour. READ THE DESCRIPTION because of you have had a “food and wine” tour and expecting a proper one, you will be 100% disappointed.

Driver is very nice and kind but, he needs to call this “Tour of Malibu”…that’s it.

The snacks that are included (nuts, trail mixes, and chips) are appreciated but the wine was open (from previous ride, I assume) and served in paper cups off the side of the road. The water was served from a gallon, also previously opened.

Definitely a lot of room from improvement.

Van was clean, but the ride in that back seat can be brutal in 70 degree weather with winds slapping your face at 40+ MPH.

Gavin is a great tour guide. He was very patient (the other customers brought a dog 🙄) and knowledgeable. He took us to places in Malibu that I did not know existed. Since we were a small tour with only 2 groups he was flexible & customized the tour to our liking.

The bus is fun. We sat next to the open window even though it was overcast, we weee not cold.

The wine was flowing!

For the price, this tour is a steal.

I highly recommend this tour if you’re interested in seeing Malibu & some beautiful beaches.

A Great Introduction

The girls and I were visiting our good friend Sophie in LA while she's there for school and Esther booked this lovely tour with Gavin. He knows so much and exactly where to take people who may have never been to Malibu before! It was absolutely not at all what we expected but also so much better, more fun and more informative than we could imagine. I was vlogging the entire time so if you'd like to see parts of the tour you can head to my travel vlog on youtube.
